An emotion stronger than love

Unexpectedly, Anderson held Axel's hand and stopped him before he could enter the car. Axel turned to look at him with a questioning frown on his face but when he saw the rare look of seriousness on Anderson's face, he turned curious.

"What did you say about the mark on Hannah?" Anderson asked solemnly. His head was lowered but Axel could see him clenching his jaw.

"I said, Hannah has my mark". He responded after a while. He wanted to walk away but he had a feeling that this would not be the end of this conversation.

As expected, Anderson raised his head and stared directly at Axel's face, "What do you mean she has your mark? Hannah is a hunter, it's impossible for her to bear your mark!"
