Chapter: 2 Spread of the Virus

Just after the command was sent to the soldiers on the front lines the soldiers quickly retreat and try to stall the Evos then while they did that, the announcement of the evacuation can be heard in the whole city, the citizens then started to move including Jay and the ones that choose to be left behind at the school but then the beast started to gone more berserk than ever some even evolved to a more ferocious monster, the commander then commanded
"start the tanks that are left and drive it in there and kill those monsters"
A soldier then pass the command to the team that are driving the remaining tanks
A soldier then entered the tent of the commander to report "sir the scouts that are assign on the south gate has mysteriously … " the soldier stops reluctant to report but then the commander shouted that sent shivers down to his spine
"speak soldier what happened to the scouts !?!?"
The soldier then speak " they mysteriously disappear"
"What do you mean disappear !? did you know that my Daughter is one of those scouts ?!" the commander said shouting and a worried expression overtook his calm and expressionless face
"y…yes Sir !!" the soldier is afraid by a death glare from the commander
"Then go dispatch the remaining scouts to go there and find them if its to late then" he stops and turned to the window of his tent and wave the soldier out the tent
a soldier then entered rushing "Dad what happened I…"he stops then tears appear on his Handsome face while kneeling he continued "I.. I heard that the scout team of Irine disappeared on the south Gate"
the commander then tap his soldiers and command him to stand up and said "today we moan tomorrow we will find her …. I promise we will find my daughter after we are finish here"
after that he got out of the tent and the soldiers ready to fight started to line up
"let us start the biggest massacre on the history of this country!!!.... we will try to buy more time for the citizens and then we will retreat to the south gate and we will lock them up here to never multiply more and reproduce !!!" the commander said with a determination on his tone
They then ready and then go to there formations they have a total of five layers of army soldiers every layer has more fire power than the other at the very back a total of seven tanks are lined up they then heard Roars, gunshots, and cries of the soldiers being bitten and killed
"READY !!!!" the commander shouted while waiting for the soldiers from the front line gone back to the tents to pick up some guns and join the squadron
"FIRE !!!!"
After what he said echoed, gun shots then filled the whole area. Many monsters cry and die
After that the commander then shouted
"Ready to Slowly retreat!!"
They then started to step backwards and slowly retreated

While they are fighting there still some buses that are inside the city near the central and east city but then they heard the gun shots that are getting closer and closer at these bus Jay, Steph, Kim, and Mckane are in, they then grew worried of the gunshots its looks like they are fighting the monsters
A whole day has passed since the busses of the school evacuated but early this morning they then heard a announcement that there are busses going to pick up the remaining citizens on the city they then state the stop of where they are gonna wait and coincidentally there is a stop near the school they also discovered that there are still 3 students left except them, their names are Ralf, Stella, and Axil they then wait there and the busses did come and they are here right now
He then said to Mckane who is next to him "Kane can you pleas connect me to the---"
But interrupted by Mckane "DUDE!!!" he shouted putting his hand on his face "I Forgot that.. shit its on the 3rd floor on the broadcast room.. oh god I'm gonna Die !!!!....." every one then wake up from there sleep then turned to

"dude calm down"
"I cant you know my dad don't know that I take ….. and then I lost it F*ck !!"
Then jay tried to calm Mckane but Mckane can't calm down and then Kim saw what seems to be silhouette of a man running fast in their direction just before they can get out the border the thing that seem like a man jump on their bus and started shaking it the passengers was startled by what happened some body then exclaimed
"there is a monsters on the side !!!" he point in a seem like it is looking through the window of the bus
The passengers then watch the finger where it is pointing but a seconds later the monster/Evos started to smash the window with its hand with the weird and monster like appearance the passengers then shout
"Aghrrrrrrrr!!!"
Then the window broke from the force of the monster displayed the people on the bus then ran out of the bus then the monster then entered, the people that are on the far side of the bus shout with fear and agony.
Jay and his group of friends ran out of the bus quickly then they saw blood that has splash on the window after that they ran the opposite direction of where the monster is still enjoying his prey the people ran on a spread out manner but then the people that ran on the side where the gun shots can be heard shouting for help they encountered far worse death than that of the people that has been killed on the bus they are have meet more monsters there a total of five monsters now jay then guided his friends on a land that has a warehouse they entered it then sat with tired expression and sweat all over there body
A boy that has been left behind by the bus like that did not volunteered like jay has speak "Shit I thought were gonna die there"
"calm down man I can hear your heart beat here you know first we need to find a way to get out of here" Steph said to the boy that seems to panic he himself felt like his gonna die but he didn't so they need to do right now is to find out what was going on
"what are those….. are those the ones that massacre the village and now getting on the central city" Mckane said
"Yeah I think those the monsters that killed all the people on the village" Jay then responded
Then they heard some foot steps going straight to were they are they stop talking and then Kim whispered to Jay
"jay there is a back door there I think there are some supplies that can help us survive for until the military rescue"
Jay then signaled the group where their going while the steps are being louder and closer Jay and his group then entered the room quietly then after the close the door the door on the warehouse opened and revealing what it looks like they didn't really see the monsters appearance because they ran away fast without looking back at the monster
The monster appeared to be like a zombie but has fangs of a snake/wolf it has half broken skull and its missing a hand
one of the members then exclaimed
"how is that still alive ?"
But even though his voice is low and almost like a whisper the monster then turned its head on them they look on horror
One of them then Shouts
"AHRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!"

the east military then saw the horror of the busses being destroyed by the Evos, they come back here to guide the busses that is being assign by their commander that they need to convoy they got there and meet the scene where monsters eat the humans and the humans became a monster its lucky they got big guns and a tank to deal with them.
When they finish clearing the gates all the people on the busses are dead except those who ran and survived the attack then they heard a shout seem to be not that far away from there position
"AHRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!"
They then ran and they meet a two dead people and the remaining are shock and some landed on their butt with cold sweat while they watch two of them being eaten, the military then shot the evos and shot the other two dead people just to be sure

After they are rescued by the military they then questioned why they shot the two people even though they are dead a soldier then fill them up by what is happening they now know that the names of the monsters are evos and then now know why they shot the two other people while there dead
the trauma of seeing such a gross and unforgettable act is a nightmare for the kids but after some orientation they seem to cope of the fear that is building inside them but one of them seems to have gone insane she started crying every time someone mention the things about the monsters around her so they avoided talking about the evos when she is around after the whole team gathered the remaining survivors they then started to head to the east city and central city's border
=======Military=======
while they are being rescued the military seems to be overwhelmed by the numbers
"Sir we are losing many of our soldiers fast..... and some of the Evos has started to slip past our formation and spread across the city while the citizens are evacuating" a soldier said next to the commander
"we will gain as much time as possible for them to escape..... now send a message to the north unit to close the gate on the north and after we finish here were going to close the south, east and the west simultaneously and clear the remaining best out side"
after the command is finish the soldiers started to move to the south gate while the north is started to close they then command the remaining scouts to go to the west gate and close the gate after a signal

while it seems to be smooth and the soldiers are formed perfectly the Evos that seem to slip past through started to ambush the buses that are picking up citizens to evacuate it's lucky for Jay and his friends because they are the first buses that departed and headed to the east while others are still finding the remaining buses that are roaming around
the whole city is in chaos because of what happened gunshots, bombs, tank, buildings collapsing every second the whole city seems to be a battle field of a war
then after the military has past the borders on the south a message then passed through all the soldiers radio it's a message that the gate are going to close on the remaining 10 seconds
the whole squad of soldiers then shout like they just lost their family
"what the heck do they know that there are still civilians on this city !!" one soldier retorted
Jay over heard the conversation while shaking and got back to where his friend where he then relay what the radio said after he finish the girl that is on the corner started to cry loudly after the cry rang out of all the vehicles a car that seems to be the first on the line started to go zigzag after a little time the car crash on a side walk
the soldiers and cars then stop and got out of there vehicles including Jay's friends
" what happened ?" the soldier that rescued jay's team questioned the driver on the second car
" I... Don't know sir they just started to drive like crazy" the soldier said
some of the soldiers then started to go closer and closer to the crash sight, blood then spread across the floor where the car is. The soldiers then heard a screeching sound coming from it
