The Beginning of the night

[11:00 pm]

- The Yoshima Towers, Pearl City

The Yoshima towers, designed and created to appear as a regular company building. But in reality, this one hundred-story skyscraper is the secret headquarters of the Yoshima clan. Disguised as an average service-providing company, the Yoshima Enterprise.

*ring ring*

"Hello, this is Mr. Yoshima's office, how may I-"

"I need to speak with Kaede, is he there?"

The person behind the call quickly interrupted as if the call was extremely urgent.

"I'm afraid Mr. Yoshima is unavailable -"

"Tell him it's Prime Minister Yamamoto. It's about an urgent matter."

The Secretary was baffled.

"Oh... my apologies, Mr. Prime Minister. I'll go get him right away."

It was eleven late at night when a very urgent call came upon the Yoshima clan's headquarters.

"Master Yoshima, you're gonna have to take this call." The Secretary said with a troubled voice.

Master Kaede went to pick up the phone.

"Hello. Who is this?"

"Kaede, it's me. We have a problem."

...

*Vroom vroom*

The sound of vehicles carrying Ichiro and his men can be heard as it was driving at top speed.

Ichiro, in the backseat of the car, was sitting next to the girl he just rescued.

The girl, still unconscious, was lying on Ichiro's shoulders.

"You look pretty comfortable there, huh Ichiro? Hahaha!" Yamada said this as he was teasing Ichiro.

"Well, I can't... I can't just move away. It might wake her up. She must be exhausted from everything she's been through." Ichiro replied with a bashful voice.

"Wow! you really care for that girl huh? Isn't that sweet of you! Hahaha!"

"Can you please stop already!"

"Fine, Fine! I was just teasing."

"But Ichiro, what do you plan to do with her now? Don't you think it's best if we surrender her to the authorities?"

"We don't know that for certain. There are also police officers under Nakamura, so the police could be looking for her as well."

"We won't be sure until we learn more about her. I want to know why she was kidnapped, and what kind of family she belongs to for her to be a valuable hostage for the Nakamura clan."

Yamada stared at Ichiro's eyes and knew that he would not be persuaded to let go of the girl.

Fine, but she's your responsibility."

suddenly...

*Ring ring*

Yamada's phone was ringing.

"Oh, it's the boss," Yamada answered the phone call.

"Hello, Boss?"

....

"Yes sir, Ichiro's right behind me."

...

"Ichiro, your father wants to talk to you."

Ichiro reached for the phone.

"Hello, Father? It's Ichiro, you wanted to talk to me-"

"Where's the girl?"

Ichiro's father asked with a cold voice.

Ichiro was surprised. He didn't tell his father anything in regards to the girl he rescued.

"How... How did you know about the girl?"

Surprised, Ichiro asked his father this.

"It doesn't matter how I know."

Ichiro glared at Yamada.

"Don't look at me, I didn't tell him anything."

"Ichiro, I want you to listen to me. You need to get rid of that girl. She can put your lives in danger."

"What do you mean get rid of her?! I can't just leave her behind!" Ichiro was furious about what his father said.

"Are you disobeying me?"

"Why should I get rid of her?! I won't leave her unless you tell me the real reason."

"I see. Then, in that case, it's up to you. This is a good opportunity to teach you about taking responsibility for your actions."

Ichiro turned silent.

"But let this be a warning," Ichiro's father added.

"Whatever happens from here on out, it will be all your fault."

*beep* Ichiro's father hung up the phone.

"Master, why didn't you tell Ichiro the reason?"

One of Master Yoshima's men asked.

"Do you think telling him would change his mind? It won't. His mind is already made up."

"But what if something happens to-"

"Then he shall learn from his mistakes."

Master yoshima said this as he turned his back.

Time: 11:30 p.m

-Port of Crystalia, Metro Phoenix

"Weeoow Weeoow!" The sound of sirens was heard across the harbor.

Red and blue lights coming from police vehicles illuminated the port's dark walls.

Crystalian officers surrounded the port's abandoned storage buildings' entire perimeter. There were reports of suspicious activities and numerous gunfires being heard from inside the abandoned building.

"So, what's the situation here?"

A man wearing a black suit approached one of the officers. He was wearing a necklace with the Phoenix symbol given only to high-ranking Crystal Falcon agents.

"Well, we've received some calls saying they heard gunshots coming from inside this building." The officer responded.

"And?"

"Well... We were told not to enter until you guys from the 'Crystal Falcon' arrive."

"Yes. We have information saying Nakamura and his men are the ones inside."

"You mean the Yakuza clan that's responsible for the kidnapping of one of the 'War Weapon' test subjects?! They are the ones inside?!"

"Yes. that's why we commanded you and your man to stand down. Things can get pretty messy."

"Then let's get to it then." The Falcon agent ordered his men to enter the building.

They were wearing black protective geares and voice-controlled helmets.

"Falcon to unit one, do you copy?"--

"tshh tshhh" --

"Unit 1 to Falcon, we read you loud and clear, over."--

"Unit 1 into position." A radio-sounding voice ordered his unit.

Swat teams led by Crystalian Falcon agents lead the way.

"Go go!" They stormed the building.

"dug! dug! Dush!" The sound of the wooden door breaking open echoed inside the abandoned building as the agents burst through the entrance.

Beams of light coming from the flashlights they carried scattered inside.

Nothing but silence greeted them.

There were no signs of anyone inside.

then, suddenly...

*Plop*

...

*plop*

...

The sound of something dripping, hidden under the shadows of the building's walls, echoed across the dark abandoned unit.

An agent pointed his flashlight towards the direction of the dripping sound.

"Wait, Is that..."

*plop*

...

*plop*

"Oh, shit..."

"That... is sickening." Everyone was speechless from what they saw.

Dead bodies of individuals, unrecognizable from the gruesome state they were left at, were scattered all over the building.

Blood splatters covered the wall like abstract paintings on a blank canvas.

They surveyed the entire building.

Slowly, they began to unravel more dead bodies as they searched further.

"Check the last remaining room upstairs." The commander of the first unit ordered his men.

*creek*

They slowly entered the room. Nothing but the moonlight emitting from the Brocken glass window illuminated the room.

And then... They saw it.

"Oh... shit!"

"Why?! what's the matter up there?!"

The commander asked after overhearing one of his men's reactions from his radio scanner.

"Sir... you're gonna wanna see this..."

He then went upstairs.

"Did you clear the area-"

...

...

"Falcon to Alfa One, what's your status?"

"I repeat Alfa one, do you read me? State your status. Did you secure the area?"

From the outside, the Falcon agent felt uneasy when all radio communications suddenly turned silent.

...

Meanwhile, the unit 1 commander was stunned when he saw one on the corpses.

He hurriedly grabbed his radio scanner.

"Alfa 1 to Falcon, we have a huge problem!"

He said in a fearful tone.

"It's Nakamura! The dead bodies belong to Nakamura and his men!"

"What?! They're all dead?!"

The Falcon agent could not believe what he just heard.

"Damn! What a mess! whoever did this made sure Nakamura had a terrible time."

The 1st unit Commander said this as he stared at Nakamura's unrecognizable body.

"Well, one thing's for sure. The person that did this knows what he's doing. A highly skilled killer. The way he ripped Nakamura's heart is just-"

"That's enough! Are there any sigs of the girl?"

"Negative sir."

"I see. This is gonna be a long night."

The Falcon agent said this before making another call.

"Hello sir, It's me. The mission didn't turn out as planned."

...

"Yes it was Nakamura and his men, but we found them all dead. Someone else must have taken the girl from them."

...

"Understood sir." *beep*

"What did the chief say?" one of the men asked after the call ended.

"Looks like they're gonna call in the big guns."

"You mean..."

"Yes, they're sending the 'Night Shadow' division."

"Oh... So it's that serious."
