1 Prologue

After the constant progress of technology, on the 22nd of February 2022, hardware- and game-developer 'New Life Technologies' released the first-ever Virtual Reality device with 'Full-Dive-Technology' – Called: 'The VR-Force'.

But only two and a half years later many people started to complain about health-issues, which seemed to be caused by the high-density microwaves that the VR-Force created in order to simulate senses.

One of the major 'Anti-VR-Force-activists' was Matoba Etsuya, which reportedly lost his daughter through the VR-Force. After he joined the 'Anti-VR-Force' movement, everything went more than quick, because people were afraid that anyone could die, like Matoba Etsuya's daughter did.

Now it's the 5th of March 2025, the last day of the first, and last remaining, VR-Force-Game; Age of Swordsmen.

The other two available VR-Force-Games games, 'Rapid Fire', an online shooter and 'New Life Online', a world-building simulator, were both shut down earlier this year.

Kyazuto Mochizuki, or how everyone calls him: Kyaga, was a passionate VR-Force player since Day 1. He was highly talented in AOS and grew to one of the best Players really quick, despite his young age.

His high Skill brought him to a lot of Fame in the AOS Community, and he quickly started to neglect society, and escape in the VR-World.

He played hours upon hours daily and lost himself completely in AOS. But not only to get better at the Game or get better Items. He played it because it was a better reality for him.
