70 The art of trailing Part V

"Looks like this guy found something interesting. You should follow it. You might find something good."

Hearing that, Joke only narrowed his eyes. Until he noticed the Half’s relentlessness in front of him, he realized that it really did find something. In the end, he decided to follow that stump-tail. It hurriedly ran ahead, wiggling its tail rapidly.

Joke tried to follow it while checking the map to not get lost. It seemed that the deeper he walked, the further he was from where his two friends were. After walking for a while, Joke heard the sound of a waterfall upfront. As he pushed a large branch aside, he was now standing in the middle of the forest. There was a small waterfall and a stream that sounded rather pleasing to Joke’s ears.

Sunlight shining through the branches above showed a rare sight of beauty, while the stream in the front was so clear even the fishes could be seen.

"There is such a beautiful place like this in the forest, it seems."
