125 Superman’s Transformation Part I

“I beg you. It might seem a bit rushed and crazy but could you give him a place to stay for two nights?”

An unexpected request from Madame Fon stunned Joke for several seconds. He glanced at the stranger whom he had just met for the first time, standing beside Madame Fon and smiling sheepishly. What could he possibly do after she suddenly asked him for help…

"Huh?"

Joke stood there dumbfoundedly while Madame Fon tried to explain.

"Well, this guy is my friend.”

She gestured towards the young man beside her. He looked a bit down. (Joke was not sure if it was all in his head but this guy seemed like a dog that had just been scolded.)

“He has just arrived from America and is looking for a place to stay. I have to give my room to Rin today. It won’t be possible to also cram this guy there. Plus, Rin might be uncomfortable staying with a guy. You live alone in an apartment, right? So, please let me leave him with you for two days.”

"Oh... but why not stay in a hotel?"
