"I have already told you... What rights do you have to give me orders, huh?”

A retort like this was giving him a headache. When he wanted to put it back into its card, his mana was still not ready.

"Please, just please take me away. I'll buy you a dozen pieces of those cakes!”

That request sent the white dragon to stop short. It glanced at the other approaching summoners, looked down at the man who was its "master", and finally let out a long sigh before grabbing Joke’s body in its hand.

"W...wait a minute. What are you doing?”

"Well, you wanted me to take us away from those folks, didn’t you?"

The short reply from the white dragon sounded as its wings spread out. The gigantic frame soared from the ground so quickly that Joke had to grit its teeth. A violent wind hit his face and he barely was able to open his eyes. When he realized it, his body was already soaring in the sky.
