A glimpse of you

All by myself down the empty slum that they drop me off. I looked for a place to lay my tiny legs. They are burns due to the long distance walk.

In a distance there was a park but the strange thing no one else is in the park apart from a little brown boy in black. Due to pain I found a corner in the park and dozed of. Only to be woken up by men in black

The guards carry me out of the park and dump me on a corridor next to a food seller. More torment my stomach grumbled and turn as I have no coin to buy for a bread from the lady. 'why do I have to loose a family'

An old lady passed carrying a lot of things, 'granma can I help you?mother told me I should help my elders so please let me help I told her.

I was so happy. 'thank you grandma' I said with a smile.

She looked old but she was still strong. We walk a long distance before we saw her hut. It was located in the forest.

'Grandma why do you live by yourself? Why do you live very far? You look pale who stays with you? I asked worry for her.

She answered, I am a medicine woman, I cure diseases but the villagers chased me away after an outbreak that I could not cure. Since then they call me a witch. In reality I'm not a mean woman but they threw stone when I was at my lowest.
