15 Chapter 15 Women are really the root of troubles

"Can we not speak about family, please?"

Yang Chen's face went sour for a second. It was a knot in his heart. And it was still there. He couldn't do anything about it.

This made Tang Wan's heart sink, as she could sense the discomfort in Yang Chen's voice. She quickly changed the subject, hoping to bring a smile back to his face and lighten the mood.

And it made him come back to the way he was before. She asked him about his job and his daily life, which he answered honestly. She didn't think someone like him would live in such a run-down place.

If he sold his shirt, then he could live a luxurious life. But she thought he might already hate living like that just by mentioning his family, and she knew that to be the case.

Her life wasn't much different from his.

 "Mr. Yang, you're really a good man, much more pleasing to the eye than those men who pretend to be sophisticated. It is a pity, that the time went by so quickly. My mood is much better now, I want to thank you for that. If there is fate and we meet again, I'll treat you to tea."

Yang Chen smiled and nodded.

"I felt the same."

Done with speaking, Tang Wan walked towards her Land Rover, stopped halfway, turned around, tenderly smiled, and said
