Chapter Two: Mazen ( My overpowered Bada** little brother)
9 weeks later.....................
Aryis stood on a tree branch overlooking a snowy forest full of Orcs that were roaming the field for as far as the eye could see. She slowly crouched down, then sprung backwards executing a perfect backflip of the branch.
At the peak of her flip she notched her bow with an icy arrow and launched it straight at an Orcs head. She shot it with such force that it went straight through the Orc, into the frozen ground beneath , turning the beast into nothing more than digital dust.
She landed on the balls of her feet in a perfect crouch and looked up noticing every Orc in the field looking at her.
"Oh sh*t" she cursed under her breath as every one of them turned her way and ran in her direction. She slammed her ice bow against the ground, the string snapping then rapping around the bottom of the bow , and the eloquent curve turning straight making it the perfect sword.
Aryis flicked her wrist left decapitating an oncoming foe then right doing the same to another unfortunately enemy. The same she did to many more but they just kept coming. Soon she grew tired and decided to call in the Calvary.
"Mazen a little help would be nice !" she shouted still slicing Orcs.
"OH YEAH IT'S MAZEN TIME!!!!"said the flaming red and yellow blur that rushed past her, so fast she almost didn't see it.
Piles of loot magically seemed to fall out of nowhere as the orc army was decimated by seemingly nothing.
" WOOOOHOOO IM A TOTAL BADASS!!!!" Said the totally boyish voice.
" Language Mazen!!!" Aryis corrected but, he was right. Wherever he went on the battle field nothing was left alive and the snow literally melted from how fast he was moving.
" GOTTA GO FAST SO FAST SO MAZEN!!!!!" he shouted running up a tree so fast he literally set it on fire. By now he had destroyed every Orc,exept for the boss. He stopped on an overhead branch his outstretched arm holding a sharp katana with a channel that ran down the middle.
" HEY ARYIS WATCH THIS"he exclaimed.
Aryis who had finnaly killed all the Orcs in her area turned to watch her brother , who was currently squaring of against the massive twelve foot orc boss. First the hilt of his katana began to turn red then the channel that ran down the sleek blade began glowing with red energy. When it had filled up to the tip he screamed "DIE BIATCH"
" OH YEAH SUPER ULTRA MAZEN LIGHTNING RASENGAN KAMEHAMEHA FLAMING MANA SPIRAL BEAM OF DEATH !!!!!!" He yelled, unleashing a concentrated beam of lightning and fire straight into the Orcs open mouth that had happened to be roaring at him at the wrong time . There was a loud BOOM , then orc boss was no more than digital particles floating away in the wind
Mazen then jumped down of the tree landing in front of Aryis.
"Show off " Aryis commented as she watched him blow the black smoke that was now rising off the end of his katana away. He twirled it once, twice, then sliding it smoothly back into the red sheath he carried on his back with a small clink to accommodate the gesture.
But No matter how awesome Mazen really was that wouldn't change the fact that he was still Aryis's fifteen year old little brother. The only reason he was that good was because he was always playing those virtual reality games back in real life. But this was there life now, atleast until they could defeat the seven world bosses. They just needed a little help first.
Aryis stared at her little brother. The avatar he had created had yellow eyes that crackled with spare lightning and yellow messy hair that stood up everywhere. He wore a red headband ,the tied ends hanging loosely in the back. He wore sleek red and yellow armor that spoke of his battle class. Although to outsiders it would appear from his getup that he was an assassin, Aryis knew that Mazen was a warrior through and through, who just preferred speed over strength. Besides the point Mazen couldn't be an assassin because for one he was way to flashy and two he YELLED EVERY MOVE HE WAS GOING TO MAKE IN BATTLE BEFORE HE MADE IT !!!
Aryis had tried to tell him he didn't need to do that but he said it added to his a quote unquote flamboyantness or something.
The only weapons he carried were two lightning daggers and a flame katana that spoke of his primary element being fire and his secondary element being lightning. But those were the only weapons he needed seeing that he could decimate entire armies in minutes.
Aryis shook her head , clearing it of all her thoughts.
" Where did you learn to do that last attack anyway Mazen " she inquired.
"If I told you I'd have to kill you! Can I please tell you!!!!" he replied with an angelic grin on his childish face.
"WHAT NO I WONT LISTE---"
"Just kidding sis" Mazen said suddenly appearing on her shoulders.
" Can we go back to town now"Mazen asked.
" Sure let's go back" she said and with a snap of her fingers all the loot disappeared, reappearing in her inventory.
They walked through to the end of the snowy dungeon and a floating box appeared asking them if they wanted to leave or not.
Aryis tapped yes and they stepped through the transparent wall into a busy plaza full of many different looking players. They had traveled via foot to the dungeon so they had been spit out of the dungeon at the nearest safe zone which happened to be Rebirth city.
They were home.
