58 Chapter Hell Knight

Of course, Volt wasn't dead, his Hell Knight power would make sure of it.

At the moment, under the shocked eyes of the mercenaries, Volt laid on the ground while bleeding, the pool of redness flat-out gathered around him.

It wouldn't take long for him to die suffering such a wound, should he any normal person.

"Haha..." the stalwart man laughed, his tone was heavy, "you caught me surprise."

"Couldn't help it," I said.

"What are you waiting for? Finish me off."

It sounded like he was giving up, but the flame in his eyes hadn't extinguished, this line was simply a taunt.

"Who's the traitors in the Alliance?" I asked.

"He... hehe, hahaha, so that's it... my life is preserved because of that, no wonder..." Volt grinned through the pain.

"I preserve you or not, it won't matter much, you have been fudged so badly by the Church," I shook my head.

"Got that right," Volt glanced at the Bishop, "but thanks to them, I am an abomination."

"You sounds happy."

"When you are accepted by no one, you are no longer human, what's the worth of pretending as one?"

"You are a leader to them," I swept my eyes toward the mercenary.

"It's the human's shell they follow, what inside, however, will turn their back."

"Are you going to tell me?" I tapped the ground with my foot.

"Got somewhere else to be?"

"Yeah... those women need my comfort."

"I see..." Volt nodded, then I felt the air around him changed, a whirlpool of Yin energy started to form.

"Shall we enter the second round?" Volt knelt, he placed his broadsword in front of him, the Yin energy invaded his body.

"Let's skip it to the end."

Volt's body submerged in the black wind that was Yin energy, blocking my eyes and the others from seeing what event had taken place.

When the black wind dissipated, the curtain revealed the truth, what appeared before we was no longer Volt, or at least not what he used to be.

"What the..."

"Boss?"

The mercenaries were speechless, the once stalwart man and bold leader in their mind transformed into something unrecognizable.

Volt's body turned milky white, the flesh on his face disappeared and revealed what it looked like to be a skull face.

The black short hair still on his head, however, it was accompanied by two large horns now.

His black armor still persisted, mixing up with the white of his body and created an eerie harmony of his appearance.

"Well, aren't you a handsome one?" I said.

"Hmm... it does give me confidence," Volt observed his arm as if marveled at the new body.

"You first, or me?" I said.

!

All of a sudden, Volt charged toward me while brandishing his broadsword, his speed easily tripled his previous one.

I summoned sword energy and deflected his attack, his other hand manifested a dark orb and launched it at me.

Bang!

I managed to avoid it, but the dark orb turned into a beam and shot forward, passing through my side and hit the mercenaries behind us instead, probably dead a few.

"Run! Run!"

The mercenaries started panicking, the previous cheers turned into screams, they escaped the area like a flock of cockroaches.

Volt swung his broadsword several times, although it appeared frenzy, I could see the pattern behind it.

I drew back and shot a couple of blue fire from my foot, they managed to make Volt retreated, and then I used the spell 'Holy' to summon a ball of light, once again retreating Volt.

Sensing the distance was enough, I lifted my hand and launched a stream of Qi toward the sky, it broke the tent, and finally, I moved the stream of Qi downward, slamming Volt with it.

Volt tried to resist the Qi with both hands, but he was unable to succeed, his entire figure submerged in the stream.

Unlike the situation with Deidara and Sasori, I reduced the strength of the stream, so after a while, the stream of Qi disappeared, but Volt's figure still around, however, countless scars could be seen on his milky white skin.

"Now, are you willing to tell me?" I said.

"Haah... haah..." Volt's chest fluctuated, his teeth-like skull gaped occasionally and let out dark smog, his hand reached out toward his broadsword.

Bang!

I teleported right in front of him and kicked his chest, the huge figure came down crashing and glued into the ground with my foot.

"How about now?"

"Grr..."

A blue fire emerged from my hand, I aimed it toward Volt and showering him with a burst of flame, his scream as if reverberated on the entire plane.

I canceled the flame, healed him, and then I interrogated him again, he didn't answer, I burned him again, rinse and repeat.
