Chapter 18

For a family head, he will always try to keep his beloved family safe. Likewise with Jordan who must be willing to spend more money just to keep his only daughter.

Busy does not mean neglecting the safety of the child. Although all this time July didn't know what her parents had done, neither Jordan nor Tesa and any objections about it. "Honey?" Tesa called to her husband.

"Changed how?" his brows furrowed.

Turning to take a coat on the bed, Tesa said, "She's not indifferent to me anymore. I don't know what made her smile at me."

"Is it true?" roll his eyes. "Are you sure?"

Sound funny. Only a smile from the child but it feels able to relieve the heart.

"Of course. I'm really happy if July will open up to us." Said Tesa. Getting just a smile has been so hard.

"Hopefully it will be a good start for all of us. From now on, we must also reduce our busyness."

Tessa nodded. The husband's words are true. To change things, sometimes we need to change our own habbits.

July, who is currently standing in front of mirror is combing her long hair. Wrapped in a brown dress, now makes July's appearance look very beautiful. After finishing arranging the appearance, July turned towards to bed.

"Hello!" said July as soon as the telephone connection was connected.

"Hello! What's wrong July?" said from the other side. Dimly July could hear the voice there starting to make noise. It was likely that all of her co-workers in the studio had already gathered.

"Call all the reporters from various TV stations. Today at exactly 10 pm I will be holding a press conference."

"What?!" it's squeaked the eardrums. July even took the phone away from her ear.

"Tsk! Why are you shouting?" grumbled July.

"Sorry... I was surprised. If that's what you want, I will prepare everything with the others."

"Good, please arrange everything."

Tut! The phone line has been disconnected, in the studio everyone immediately looked excited. No exception Anggi who did get the news first.

"What did July say? Why did you cream earlier?" Tiwi asked with a transgender accent.

"Yes, Anggi. What did July say?" Rian followed suit. Either Tiwi and Yola, they both looked at Anggi's face seriously.

"July will have a press conference this afternoon."

"What?!" the three of them shouted at the same time, staring straight at Anggi.

"Are you serious?! Rian grabbed both of Anggi's arms. Gripping firmly while shaking it. "you're not lying are you?"

"Don't play around Anggi!" this time Yola glared.

Anggi then chuckled, get rid of Rian's hand quickly. "Of course I'm serious. Since when did I lie, huh?1 Anggi stared back at the three in turn.

Looks like this morning should feel a little gloomy. Seeing Anggi's serious face, there three immediately panicked and began to be attacked by panic. Without many question and further ado, the four of them immediately prepared all the necessities needed. Starting from setting the table, microphones and a place for reporters to throw questions.

"Morning, sir." Said David when he met his master on the terrace oh the house. David had just arrived while his two employers were about to leave for the office.

"Morning, David." Jordan answered.

"I went straight in, Sir." David bent down and was about to waddle in. However, Jordan quickly grabbed David's arm making David turn around.

"What is it, sir?"

"Please take care of July for us. He asked you to escort her, so do it." staring at the request.

Of course, without hesitation David nodded. "Ready Sir." I will do what I can." Not just a trust from the employer, but also from a father, who has take care of July's figure for years.

As soon as his two masters had left, David rushed in. He did not directly meet July but first turned towards the kitchen. Apart from feeling hungry, David also wanted to meet the other servants who worked in this house.

"David?" shocked Ica. Standing in front of David, Ica began to circle around David's body, which this morning looked very different. "Where are you going?"

David hissed. Get rid of Ica's body who was watching seriously. "watch out! I'm hungry." Immediately grabbed a pile of bread that was served on the table.

Then Ica just shrugged and grabbed a try of bread and glass of milk.

"Where are you going to take it?" he asked.

"To miss July's room."

"Let me." David took a sip of water. Putting the glass back on the table and snatching the tray from Ica's hand.

They both just stared at David's steps that were getting further away.

"David? Is that you right?" it seems that Ica not the only one who feels overlook with David's new look. Likewise with Mara who looks amazed.

With his mouth still full of bread, David replied, "Who do you think? Of course it's me." Then pour water into a glass.

Ica and Mara looked each other.

"Did David change the look for Miss July?"

"E-huh??" Ika turned. "What do You mean?" asked Mara back.

"Is it possible that David changed his appearance because of Miss July? May be he want to charm Miss July."

Instead of answering, Ica laughed while holding her stomach. "If you're not jealous, don't over do it." Ica chuckled and then took a deep breath while rubbing the corner of her eyes.

"Who's jealous?"

"Of course you are."

Not caring about the chatter of the two woman in the kitchen, now David was standing in front of July's door. It's still half past nine. Meanwhile, yesterday July asked David to come around nine o'clock. Come early isn't better?

"Miss, my I come in? I brought breakfast."

The sound immediately made July, who was wearing shoes looked up. "Come in. The door is not looked."

Then David came in. "Morning, Miss." Greet the employer in a friendly manner.

"Morning..."

David walked forward, place the tray on the nightstand. "This is breakfast, Miss."

"Wait a minute..." July was still busy with her shoelaces that weren't fully tied.

"My. I help?" David crouched down in front of July. And without waiting for approval from July, David immediately tied the shoelaces.

July who was still sitting with a half-leaning body, could smell the shampoo from David's black hair. The smell is very fragrant with the aroma of uarang aring. For a moment, July was unconsciously enjoying the fragrance, inhale deeply with your eyes closed.

"Yes Miss."

July then opened her eyes. Blinked as he looked at the two pairs of shoes that were tide perfectly. "Th-thank you." For some reason July's feelings turned nervous.

After waking up from the smell of shampoo drifting in David's hair. Now, July is again fascinated by David's 180 degree turn. As per July request, David cam today wearing only tattered jeans and a shirt with the selves folded up to the elbows.

David, used to appear in a suit like a bodyguard for the princess, has now turned into a handsome figure who can honestly make July's heart beat fast.

Realizing that she didn't want to stay too late. July looked away and choose to start eating the bread and glass of milk that David brought."
