222 Zheng Yue is Pregnant

It was late at night when Nan Kang returned to Zheng Yue's house.

He pushed open the door and saw Zheng Yue lying on the table with a few dishes in front of her, as if she was waiting for him to come back.

It was clearly a beautiful and warm scene, but there was no warmth in Nan Kang's eyes.

Thinking of the secretary's report today, he narrowed his eyes and put the things aside. He walked to Zheng Yue and carried her to the bedroom.

"Oh… you're back." Zheng Yue was jolted awake.

Her voice was groggy. She opened her sleepy eyes and saw Nan Kang's face in front of her and subconsciously smiled.

Then, Zheng Yue remembered the food she had prepared. "Have you eaten? I made some…"

Nan Kang placed her on the bed. "I've eaten."

His answer was short and flat, with a hint of imperceptible alienation. Zheng Yue was not fully awake yet and did not realize that something was wrong.
