Chapter 28 Taking Over the Richard Group

He knew it was Piper.

After finishing his cigarette, he saw the light by the window went out. He flicked the cigarette ash, closed the window, and drove away.

Piper didn't know that Skyler had been here.

Early the next morning...

Piper was going to Jax to discuss the art exhibition as they planned the day before.

Just as she was about to go out, someone knocked on the door. Piper's mom said anxiously, "Go talk to your father, Piper. Tell him not to be angry."

Piper opened the door and asked in confusion, "What's wrong with my dad?"

"It's all because of the company. Since your father fell ill, those shareholders have been trying to divide up the Richard Group, especially your uncle's family. They want to take over the Richard Group. Your father is arguing with them now."

Piper frowned and patted her mother's hand to comfort her. "Mom, don't worry. I'll go and have a look."
