How Many Stars?

Whilst Batista was feeling a little smug over his talent being the highest so far, a gate in the distance slowly opened. After walking over to it, he came to a sudden stop just as he was about to walk in, and instead turned around. Since the opportunity behind the gate was already his, Batista decided to stay behind to watch what kind of talent everyone else had.

At first, the remaining cultivators were confused by what he was doing, but they quickly realised and promptly ignored him. Since he wanted to satisfy his curiosity, they'd let him do whatever he wanted. It's not like it affected them after all. After Batista had gone up, the next in line was Rebecca White. After receiving some encouragement from Samuel, she went up to the crystal and promptly put her hand on it.
