Without wasting much time, Raymond and Chloe walked to the Bluemont Pavilion whilst casually chatting with each other. People naturally turned their heads to look at them, but neither Raymond nor Chloe really cared about it, they had experienced similar things before after all, especially Chloe. What did surprise her though was Raymond. His perspective on things was quite unique, and the jokes he told were all strange and foreign to her, but she enjoyed his company.

Although she asked where he came from, Raymond answered with half-truths, eventually steering away from the subject. Chloe naturally picked up on this and didn't bother him much about it. After they had walked for a while, they eventually arrived at the Bluemont Pavilion. The Bluemont Pavilion was a three-story building with exquisite decor, and it was very busy. People came and went quite frequently, which surprised Raymond a little. He had expected the place to be expensive, and that there wouldn't be many customers as a result.

Chloe saw this confusion and took the opportunity to explain.

"The Bluemont Pavilion has several floors, and the first floor is primarily for commoners. It's both cheap and tasty, which is why a lot of commoners prefer to eat here. The only downside is that it's quite rowdy, but don't worry about that, we'll eat on the second floor."

"It's up to you. You're the one paying after all." Raymond responded cheekily. He didn't really care about which floor he ate on, but since the second floor was probably a bit quieter, he wouldn't complain about it.

Getting a table on the second floor was pretty straightforward, all Chloe needed to do was take out a token and she was allowed up. This token was like a pass that you had to have if you wanted to dine on the second floor of the Bluemont Pavilion. You could either get it by having a noble identity or just by spending money. But access to the third floor was a little harder to get. Any guest on the third floor was someone that the Bluemont Pavilion couldn't afford to offend. Only people with great strength or identity were allowed up there.

As they arrived on the second floor, they instantly noticed that it was quite subdued compared to the first floor, but there were only a few tables left. Naturally, some of the diners also noticed their arrival; some ignored them, whilst others looked upon them with slightly nefarious eyes. One table housed four young men, all dressed elegantly. Although they all had noble identities, it was obvious who the leader was if you observed their body language a little.

The leader, a young man with pretty thin lips and sunken eyes was constantly fanning himself as he watched Chloe and Raymond intently. Without saying a word, the man gestured at his attendant, who instantly understood his meaning. Raymond and Chloe had just sat down when the attendant arrived next to them.

"My young master invites the young lady over to his table."

With a gesture to indicate who he was talking about, the attendant had an arrogant expression on his face. He loved watching people's expressions when they saw his young master and realised who he is. To his surprise, neither Raymond nor Chloe reacted much upon seeing his young master. It wasn't weird that Raymond didn't react much, he couldn't see his young master after all, but Chloe was a different story. He wasn't entirely sure, but the attendant was pretty sure he even saw some disdain when Chloe looked over.

"You can thank your young master for us, but unfortunately I'm not interested." Chloe responded after some thought.

"Do you even kno-"

"I know who your young master is, but I don't care. Now leave us alone." This time, Chloe was a little irritated. How arrogant could an attendant be?

The attendant was stumped, and he walked back to his young master in shame, reporting what he had heard. The young master was confused upon seeing his attendant return by himself, but after hearing what he had to say, he was livid.

Slap!

A loud sound reverberated across the second floor, as the young master slapped his attendant so hard he was sent flying to the ground. After noticing the commotion, Chloe was even more disgusted, and Raymond had a slight smile on his face. After "disciplining" his attendant, the young master arrogantly strode over to Raymond and Chloe's table, his friends following close behind him.

"Do you know who I am?" The young master asked pridefully.

"Naturally, the second young master of the Burke family, Gabriel Burke." Chloe replied.

"And you still think you can just disregard me?" This time, Gabriel was truly mad. He had never encountered a situation where someone just completely disregarded him despite knowing his identity.

Before Chloe had a chance to respond, Gabriel had raised his hand high, ready to show this bitch what he was made of.

"Hahaha, you've truly opened my eyes today young master Burke."

Gabriel was interrupted by a voice he had not heard before, and as he looked towards the source of it, he was baffled. The person who had said that his eyes were opened was actually a blind man that was sitting right next to him. He had been so focused on Chloe that he didn't even bat an eye on who she was with, but upon seeing Raymond, he was at a loss for words.

"I would suggest you lower your hand, and then fuck off to where you came from!"

As he said the last words, Raymond completely released his murderous sword force. The power of the sword force was naturally immense, and for someone who had just barely stepped into the 6th revolution of body-refining by relying on medicine, Gabriel had no real strength to resist. The pressure on his soul was immense, and he felt like if he truly tried to slap Chloe, his head would immediately be severed from his body. This was the scary reality of killing intent. For someone who had never experienced it, it was hard to react to.

Gabriel Burke was someone who had relied on his family to bully others his entire life, but he had never killed someone before. To face the killing intent and sword force of someone that was way stronger than him was something entirely new to him, and he could only collapse onto the floor, with no strength to resist. Raymond still had an enigmatic smile on his face throughout the entire situation. He didn't expect Gabriel to just collapse so easily, it seemed that he was a little stronger than he realised.

"Take your young master with you and leave this place, I don't wanna see your faces around here."

Following his joke, the tense atmosphere was soon gone as Gabriel's lackeys carried him away. Some of the other diners laughed at his misfortune, whilst others simply laughed at Raymond's bad jokes. Chloe looked at Raymond with a wry smile. She didn't expect him to take care of the situation. Like this, the situation was resolved, and they could finally eat, something Raymond had been looking forward to for a while now.
