MY OLD FRIEND

Now, its going to more than a month I have been staying with the old man in the abandoned hospital, I had a good start because the man would always give me food, let just say he took me as a son. He treated me more like my dad at California, they wasn't any differences from home, but things change when the man food and other items finished, I had to go out to the street to beg for money before I can even see a cup of mouth to drink. Life in the state was though, then I knew only what i see in the movie are just what I would call "In The Movie ", in real life, the State was a very difficult one, it was nothing similar to what we use to watch in the town. Each day I would return home with a little amount of money and give to the old man, one day the man seat me down and asked me to remind him the reason I was in the States again, I told him everything from the beginning to the end. After the long story the response I got really shocked me, he just told me to go to bed that he was going to sleep on it,

the following morning I saw him going through some books, I could not believe the old man was well educated, he even has cerficates to prove it. I went close to him to find out what he was doing, immediately he saw me coming he closed the book, I was only able to see a diagram of a man with a robotic hand, I just pretended like I saw nothing and I came to let him know I was going for my usual daily hustle.

That day my arm asking did not really pay, my mind was all over what could be the old Man's plan,

just as I was about to enter the hospital I saw one of my old friend, well she's actually my ex, Juliet, I met Juliet while I was still in grades school, she was my first love the first woman I loved after God, but the sad love story started the day Juliet father got a job in the States, a week before Juliet left she called me and told me she was no longer interested in a low life like me, she called me all sorts of names, she even called me a bastard, she said I don't know who my father truly his.

It was after that day I swore never to tell anyone my personal life issues, I could not believe the girl I love and trusted could say such a thing to me, it was all like a drama to me.

When I saw her in the States,

I was really amazed, she was these slim, tall and she just maintained her beauty, she starred back at me, but it seem like she did not recognise me on my crutches, she was staying two blocks away from the hospital. When I got in I saw the old man sleeping on the same chair he was sitting before I left and he was still holding the same book, I stylishly picked the book from his hand , I went through it I discovered it was filled with instruction on how to attach robotic elements into human to make them work more efficiently, I just kept the book on the table for him and I went to bed myself.

The following morning it was the old man who woke me up that it was time , I was really confused because we had no discussion about anything, I kept asking him what he was going to do to me .He asked me to lay flat on the bed even though I refuse to, he would still force me to, so I just co operated with him and see were it all ends.

I can't really say about what happen, but all I can remember is I woke up the following morning, I had this strange feeling in my back, it felt like I was been control by something, I could no move, I just stayed flat on the bed, my eyes up , hoping someone would come in and observe me. Luckily for me the old man came in and he saw I was already awake, he started questioning me, asking me how I felt, and things like that.

He finally explained to me that he replaced my bones with that of a robotic materials, he further more explained to me the mean reason his brother was very famous, " one thing people don't know about Luck Modric was that all his invention were not made by him but his poor brother who was the person behind the mask, Luck never bought any of his equipment from an outside store he made use of everything his juinor brother would invent, after many years of been popular and rich, Luck's brother wanted to open his own inventory workshop,but Luck knew if people discover it was his brother that was the genius behind all his equipment, it we ruin his own reputation, so he asked his brother to work under him for ten more years".

One night I had a gunshot at the doorstep of the hospital, I manage to walk down to the place to see what was going on, just for me to find out that Juliet and her father were been robbed, I picked up a stick to defend myself and I proceed down to the scene, I asked the boys what they were looking for and what was the offense of the poor girl and her father, at first they asked me to leave the scene but I refused to. I told them I wasn't ready to leave without the girl and her father, just then the boys started attacking one after the order , I wasn't really good with my new self, I found it difficult to move but still I mange to take out about two or three of the them, just as I was about to punch the guy coming towards my direction I saw Kelvin putting on the same costume just like the other boys, I was shock to the extent I forget immediately what I was doing there , before I could come back to my right self the guy had already punched me in the face , just then I blacked out. By the time I woke up I saw myself been chained to a mental chair, I saw the old man negotiating with Kelvin on how much he was going to pay for my release, Kelvin came closer to me and told me in my ears "YOU NEVERED SEE ME" ,I knew Kelvin would remember I was the one.

The girl and her father I tried to free had already gone.
