I'm currently reading this during its trial read (there are 30 chapters) & while the age of the main characters is too young, there's no romance yet (though there was consummation mention that was awkward). So, if you can overlook their ages, the story itself is pretty interesting.

She ends up winning the emperor's favor which was no easy task.its filled with many interesting plot twist along the way.I have fascination with Asian based stories.

Wholesome! Though we can read beheading and skinning, the interactions between the young Emperor and Empress is cute. How both wanted to care for each other giggles your romantic side. But most awesome part of the story is the fast face slappings. Yeah, just like the tyrant Emperor. IT feels good to punish the evil ones
