Move

Lucifer returns with lunch for Yena. As soon as he entered he found the girl pacing tensely. Seeing Lucifer return Yena immediately hunted him frantically.

"Lucifer, we have to leave immediately. Arion is holding Rumi. We have to go save her!" Yena said with puffy eyes.

"Calm down. What's wrong?" Lucifer put down his shopping and pressed Yena's shoulder for her to sit down.

Yena still couldn't calm down. She handed the small piece of paper to Lucifer.

"A little bird came and handed this over. It must be from Arion. How about this? It seems he has kidnapped my best friend, Rumi. We must immediately save her." Yena said.

Lucifer crumpled the paper and snorted softly.

'This jerk really can't let me calm down, huh?'

"Yena, tidy up all your things. We have to move immediately," said Lucifer.

"M-move? Why?"

"Arion already knows this place, we have to move immediately. Quick, pack up all the things you are going to bring."

"But... what about Rumi? I have to go save her--"

"Don't be stupid. We have to save ourselves first, then do we think about it. Arion wouldn't hurt her anyway. He's a diviner, so he won't hurt anyone carelessly."

"But--"

"Trust me." Lucifer reassured.

Yena bit her lip and finally after being convinced by Lucifer she agreed to just go with the plan.

Yena doesn't have a lot of stuff. Meanwhile, Lucifer also only brought two of his books and left the others.

That day, they rushed to leave the place.

Yena doesn't know where Lucifer took her. After leaving the place they took a taxi and stopped at an area. From there Lucifer covered Yena's eyes so she didn't know where they were going.

"Why can't I see?" asked Yena astonished. Lucifer covered her eyes with his own hands, not letting Yena peek in the slightest.

However, what made Yena uncomfortable was that in this position indirectly Lucifer hugged her. Yena was enveloped in the coolness of Lucifer's body.

"Anyway, you can't see. You'll get dizzy," said Lucifer.

Yena didn't ask anymore and just obeyed.

"Lucifer, are you sure Rumi will be fine?" Yena asked again. She couldn't stop being nervous. Rumi was dragged into trouble because of herself. What did the dragon want? He's really sly.

"You can take my word for it that nothing will happen to her. Well, we've arrived." Lucifer said. At the same time, the door opened and Yena realized Lucifer was leading her into a building.

"Can I see now?" She asked.

Lucifer didn't flinch for a moment and then whispered, "Wait a minute."

"Um?" Yena didn't know what Lucifer was doing. However, she could sense that the man was up to something. Yena felt his body move.

"Now you can see." Lucifer let go of his hand. For a moment, Yena's vision was blurry. However, after being able to see the girl curled up and clung to Lucifer.

"Wh-what place is this?" The girl shuddered. What she saw was a very dirty interior of the house, dirtier than the building they had occupied before.

"We'll stay here. The area is pretty safe." Lucifer said.

"B-but, how can we live in a place as dirty as this? Why don't we find somewhere a little better?" Yena complained that the floor of the building was barely visible because it was covered in dust. She then looked up only to coax Lucifer with her sparkling eyes.

Lucifer smiled. She's so sweet.

"I don't think there's anything more worthy than this. It's the only one with electricity. I'll clean it up first. You wait here." Lucifer said as he picked up Yena and sat her down on the table.

"Eh? Such a dirty and spacious place, how are you going to clean it?" Yena looked at Lucifer skeptically.

"Secret. I will do magic. So close your eyes," said Lucifer.

"Again? huh okay, but if it's magic it shouldn't take long, okay." Yena closed her eyes obediently.

"Not for long."

Don't know what Lucifer did. Yena heard the sound of splashing water which sounded like a tsunami. Out of curiosity she wanted to peek but was immediately reprimanded by Lucifer.

"Do not see!"

"Why? Are you an angel? So your power will be lost as soon as someone sees it?" Yena suddenly remembered the fairy tale of Jaka Tarub and the Seven Angels which is very famous in Indonesia. She thought if someone saw Lucifer using his power then the magic of that creature would be lost like Dewi Nawang Wulan. Thinking that Yena didn't dare open her eyes.

It wasn't until Lucifer ordered it that she opened his eyes.

"Woah this is magic! Lucifer is cool!" Yena exclaimed in admiration when she saw the scene in front of her in contrast to the room she had previously seen.

Is this the same place as before? Very clean and pleasing to the eye. Not just the floor, even the walls, and roof are all clean. Lucifer is very dedicated.

She saw Lucifer lying shirtless next to her. He looked exhausted.

"It's worth it now, isn't it?"

"Yeah! Why didn't you clean our living quarters earlier too? It would be so beautiful!" Yena said happily as she ran to the only room in the house which was none other than the bedroom.

"Wow! How big!"

Lucifer smiled slightly at Yena's voice.

Night came. Yena was no longer cheerful when she realized she didn't have a bed to sleep on. except for the bathroom, this house has nothing left.

"We should have brought the bed too, now how am I going to sleep?" Yena creaked her hips, confused.

"Just sleep here." Lucifer said. Yena saw the big snake coiled on the floor. somewhat surprised, she had not seen the figure of Imoogi Lucifer in a long time.

"You mean ... where do I sleep?"

"You can catch a cold if you sleep on the floor. My skin isn't as cold as the floor, I'll keep you warm." Lucifer said.

Seeing Lucifer's dark scales, Yena shuddered in amusement.

"I-I'll just sleep here, I still have some clothes."

Yena spread out her two sets of clothes on the floor, using them as mats. Not bad, so not too cold.

Yena curled up on the thin layer and fell asleep. However, the weather is still very cold. not even an hour Yena already started shivering.

Seeing that, Lucifer moved to encircle Yena in his circle. Yena gasped and woke up. She was shocked to see herself covered in Lucifer's dark scales.

"Go to sleep," said Lucifer.

Although Yena was surprised, she had to admit this was much more comfortable and warm.

"Thank you." She said.

"Tomorrow I will buy a new bed for you. Now adapt to me," said Lucifer. His words sounded strange.

Yena felt her chest warm as Lucifer's tail blocked the cold air that pierced the soles of her feet.

"Why are you being so nice to me?" Yena suddenly asked. She couldn't help but wonder at Lucifer's increasingly gentle and caring demeanor.

"What... can't i?" Lucifer's short answer made Yena not know what to reply.

They didn't talk anymore and fell asleep until tomorrow.

When she woke up, Yena saw that Lucifer had opened his eyes but had not moved from his position.

Seeing Yena awake Lucifer stepped aside and let Yena free.

"Thank you." Yena said for Lucifer's 'VVIP' treatment. Even though he was already awake, he didn't move for fear of waking her up.

"You want to take a shower first, I want to soak after you," said Lucifer.

"Oh, yes." Yena squirmed. After her life was collected she rushed into the bathroom.

The bathroom here is bigger than the previous one. There is a bath up, even the size is quite large, almost like a pool.

Quite luxurious, the only thing lacking is the lights are a little dim. Maybe because of the cold water and the new place, Yena felt the hairs on her neck dance when she saw a puddle of water in the bath.

"Uuhh why do I feel weird? You coward Yena." The girl mocked herself.

"I have to drain the water first." Yena squatted down and stretched out her hand to open the drain at the bottom of the bath up.

"Eh?" Yena's expression changed when she realized something was coming out of the water. However, it was too late....

Something tugged at her neck and pulled her into the bath up.

"Ahh! Lu-cifer!!!"
