Daytime, Scarlet Dragon Mountain Range
It was a normal morning. Profound Beasts began hunting for food. Cultivators explored the mountain to gather herbs.
Scarlet Mountain Dragon Range, Dragon Cave
A gigantic dragon could be seen slumbering. It had a height of a hundred feet and weighed approximately a hundred tons.
Its breathing alone was terrifying enough. Every time it exhaled, the mountain shook.
At this moment, the dragon suddenly opened his eyes. A blanket of fire surrounded his body as he shouted:
"Who dares to disturb this king's royal slumber!"
The entire cave shook. Even the surrounding area was affected. The Profound Beasts residing close to the dragon's territory immediately left in fear.
"Quite a grumpy fella aren't you? Anyways, I need something that you currently have in possession of"
A peerlessly handsome youth wearing white robes could be found near the cave's entrance. This was naturally Yun Che.
"How audacious! You little human dare think about stealing my treasures"
"I will burn you with my mighty flames! It is your honor to die in this king's hands"
The dragon said as it released a large ball of fire from its mouth that was directed to him.
"I never intended to bargain in the first place as well"
Yun Che waved his hand and the large ball of fire dispersed.

Yun Che's aura changed as his profound energy went berserk. His figure now exuded a powerful aura.

His figure blitzed and was soon close to the dragon's head.
He then raised his hand upwards, forming a blade. He then shouted:
"Falling Moon, Sinking Star!"
The dragon's eyes were opened wide. It suddenly had a bad premonition
*BOOM!*
The entire cave shook as dust filled one's vision.
As soon as the dust cleared, a gigantic corpse would be seen. Its body was intact and well but the same could not be said for its head.
Its head was a mess. It looked like a detonated watermelon. All of this happened in a single moment.
"That was fairly easy. Though I could have cut its head cleaner, there's no point crying over spilled milk, I guess"
He moved forward and dissected the corpse, taking its profound core in the process.
"This core should help me advance 'Dragon Fault' to the next realm"
"The Wasteland of Death is a must-go if I want to obtain that sword in the first place"
Yun Che stored the corpse and the treasures found in the cave inside the pearl, alarming Jasmine in the process.
"What is an Emperor Realm dragon corpse doing here?"
She then observed Yun Che walk towards the Fire Seed.
"At last, after waiting for a couple of days to advance towards the fourth level of the Great Way of The Buddha, I have finally obtained you"
"What? But I just napped and what is emperor dragon dead here and he's at the fourth level ha.....404 not found"
Jasmine decided to nap a little bit longer
Yun Che on the other hand was ecstatic. He placed the Fire Seed in his mouth and allowed it to do its thing.
As the seed entered his body, he felt a strange energy wrap around his profound veins. His profound veins' color changed to a crimson-red color. He also felt his cultivation rise.

He sold the profound cores from the beasts he had slaughtered on the way and some other treasures he found inside the dragon's cave.
He then proceeded to buy a large bed and the "Smoky Red Fairy Dress" for Jasmine. He also bought some rations and some other miscellaneous items such as a new set of robes.
He received a Profound Currency Card containing thousands of purple profound coins.
Yun Che did not disguise himself this time because he was confident in his current capabilities. Even if every major sect in the city banded together to rob him, he would still be confident.
Upon receiving the dress, Jasmine's eyes shone - she liked the dress.
"Hmph, although it is beneath me to use such common silk, I shall accept it"
"You should be honored"
Yun Che ignored her and proceeded to walk towards the direction of the "Ten Thousand Beasts Mountain Range".
He eventually stopped and seemed to ponder about something.
"Should I uproot the Xiao Sect branch? If I uproot every major sect in the city, New Moon Profound Palace would be the sole overlord of this city"
