Xanthippeia Castiano, a young seemingly ordinary girl raised in the mortal world that happens upon paranormal abilities as a Hemitheos (demigod) that will separate her from the normal life she once led. The more she discovers herself, she sees her new secret powers might not be all they are cracked up to be as she gains unwanted attention from immortal beings from a strange world. Unbeknownst to her, there is a great force at work that she will have to overcome as she is part of a ancient prophecy that will force her into an immortal war she had no idea of.

Xan looked into his beautiful eyes that never ceased to amaze her.

"What are you thinking my love?" Leodocus asked as he stroked her slightly exposed midriff as she was sat straddling him on the chair. They had changed the position slightly a couple of minutes ago to be able to immerse themselves in this quality time.

"You're really not going to read my mind anymore?"

"It is what you want."

"Not completely but you have to know your boundaries, Leo.

"So you do not want me invading your rather provocative thoughts only?" he teased her and she giggled throwing her head against his chest.

"They're not that provocative god…and I was thinking about how incredible your eyes are."

"Would it surprise you to know that I was thinking the same, about yours?" he spoke softly as she pulled back to look at him. It was still odd that they seemed to think alike so much like they had this cosmic connection.
