Chapter One Hundred Thirty

*In Umbra* 

A giant angry roar sounded from the highest point of the castle shaking the very foundations with its vibration. Nyx rolled her eyes as she set off to find her house guest for the umpteenth time to calm him down so he would not tear this place apart.

It had been the third day Ares had isolated himself when his foul mood had turned into a complete rage. He had been in Nyx's domain now for almost a fortnight now and she could tell he was getting impatient. She could hear him pacing the halls destroying things and even going as far as to try and leave the world, But she had been there every single time to talk him off the ledge. Nyx had not known irritation like this for ages, it was one of the very strong reasons she was alone and prefer it that way for such a long time. The concept of taking care of or at least making sure someone in your care does not do anything stupid was off-putting to her but she had no other choice.
