Prologue

Deep within the peninsula of Arcum, a secluded village bordering a mountain range and surrounded by forest, is where the Ortus Tribe lives peacefully. The mountain range is rich in various minerals and ores, be they normal ones or magical ones. The forests surrounding the tribe are rich in natural resources both normal and magical. The fact that the tribe has the necessary materials they need for daily activities and leisure close by, they rarely interact outside the village even more so outside the peninsula.

The village has skilled artisans and craftsmen that even rival those found in the most prestigious cities. Since artisans and craftsmen are able to truly concentrate on their artwork without worrying about materials, they are able to reach new heights in their field of interest. So the village facilities and residences have an intricate design that incorporates advanced technology and eco-friendly mechanism. It's not an exaggeration to exclaim that the village is one of the greatest masterpieces made by man. And yet a masterpiece is hidden from sight from most of the world.

Aside from having skilled and hardworking artisans and craftsmen, the village also has a great number of people who excel in the healing arts. Healers that are skilled in all kinds of specialties. From healers who create amazing healing potions, salves, and ointments, to healers who use magic, to healers that provide comfort for the mind, heart, and soul through counseling.

As amazing as the village is, the trait that everybody in the tribe takes pride in the most is the fact that they can communicate with divine and mythical creatures with ease. This trait is what enabled them to stay and live in the Arcum peninsula which is brimming with hostile mythical creatures that are powerful enough to destroy an entire kingdom easily.

And once in a while, a special child is born who spirits adore and mythical creatures obey. These special children are called malua, the treasure of the world. They are also herald of change but what kind of change, solemnly depends on them.
