3 Chapter 3- Following A Dumbass.
After finally waiting for an eternity it was Yuki's and Allison's turn to enter the garrison. At the entrance they were stopped by guards and given a small gray tablet with runes inscribed on it and were asked to break it.
Compiling with it both Yuki and Allison broke the tablet, which was surprisingly easy to achieve. Upon being broken Yuki saw an interface in front of her vision, it was her status display.

Her highest stat was agility which was kinda surprising as she didn't exercise her flexibility that much, next were both her dexterity and intelligence. She couldn't say anything about them as she was good at studying and was on point with her handiwork stuff.
Although the rest were kind of pitiful, which indeed reflect in reality as well, as she wasn't the best in all of them. The same happened with Allison though hers differed from Yuki's as they were more balanced.
And while Yuki decided to keep the free points she was given, Allison decided to spend them immediately all in one stat as she knew what she was going for.

"You lass with the black hair go to the left section, you'll find suitable weapons there. While the other, go to the center section. You are free to go inside." One of the guards said as they allowed both of them to enter.
When they entered, they saw a large yard filled with different kinds of weapons. At the center there were more standard types of weapons, such as swords, maces and axes, the left section was the one that were lighter in weight and needed more dexterity to use such as rapiers, daggers, bows and more.
While the right section had the heavy kind of weapons like greatswords, war hammers, scythes and others. As well as a section with different kinds of gems some larger while others smaller in various colors.
Yuki went to the left section as she was told and saw that most weapons there required more finesse to use. After trying out a few of them, Yuki decided to pick up a rapier along with a dagger and finally a longsword from the central section which proved to be easier to wield.

In the game there were a total of 6 grades ranging from the more common which was gray to the most rare that were Red, with a few exceptions of some special cases. Such as blessed weapons by the gods which had white as their color or Black which were classified as Ancient Relics or artifacts.
When Yuki met up with Allison again at the exit gate, she saw what Allison had picked up. She had a light blue crystal, a longsword like her and a scythe which she put on her inventory along with the rest, so did Yuki.
"So where now?" asked Yuki as she didn't have a clue of where to go, so she left her fate in Allison's hands. "Do you want easier enemies or harder?" replied Allison. "Uhmm..whatever I don't mind."
Allison made her way towards the forest near the city and Yuki followed suit. Upon arriving they saw that a few more people had arrived earlier than them and had begun their hunt although some backed away after entering the forest without a party, or simply killed off by the monsters.
For a start Yuki and Allison only killed a few slimes that exited the forest once in a while but this did not count as actual combat as they were easy to pick off, although they gave a few gold that they didn't have and some experience.

Yuki and Allison hunted a few more slimes together but saw that it was rather inefficient so they decided to wander inside the forest to test their luck and how hard it was for the need of a party.
While inside they faced more slime but this time in a larger volume and more tough but in the end nothing too major. So they went further in only to find their stop by a group of wolves growling at them before lunging towards them.
2 of the wolves jumped on Allison while the other on Yuki. Allison didn't have the time to use her gem and didn't have the knowledge of how to, so she slashed with the long sword which was the best option at the current situation. While Yuki used her rapier, stabbing the wolf which worked half the time.
Allison got bit a few times from the wolves she was dealing with and without any actual armor their attacks were rather deadly.
Yuki also didn't go unharmed as she herself got bit by the wolf she was facing and had a hard time stabbing it, but she did manage to land a stab when it jumped towards her. Piercing its heart and killing it.

Immediately after defeating it Yuki disregarded the loot it dropped and went to help Allison with her last wolf as she too managed to defeat one. With a stab and a flick upwards Yuki managed to injure the wolf side and Allison took the chance to slash downwards with the sword killing the last wolf and sharing the experience.

With all the wolves dealt with, Yuki and Allison learnt that this was a bad idea to continue and made their way out of the forest in a fast pace like the rest that had entered before they checked how bad they had gotten hurt.

While she did get more than half a level along with 44 gold coins she could use, she and Allison had almost died. Allison only survived due to her higher vitality.
After that they decided to not go in the forest for the time being and learn how to use their weapons. As much as they could alone that is. Allison managed to finally conjure a few icicles with the help of the gem she had picked, while Yuki kept stabbing things and flicking the rapier in different directions and used her dagger in the other hand for anything closer.
Allison also used the longsword again, as well as having some fun reaping both slimes and grass with her scythe as she swung it wildly. Suddenly Allison stopped moving and began to read something in front of her before leaving the party and making a run for it without saying anything.
Yuki was bewildered by what just happened but she did say that she would play the game solo, so she didn't care that much.
