1 Chapter 1: Enter the Domain
Long, long ago - there was a wave of darkness that washed over the no-man's land that was the ancient star systems, this wave was heralded by the Umbra, worshippers of the Dark One; Umbrael, they sought dominance over everything in and beyond this realm, but just as the darkness tried to constrict and devour everything in sight, there arose those chosen by the Arch Angelight Luxiel as his warriors; these were known as the Luma Sages; bearing the marks of the positive traits everyone should aspire: Leadership, Wisdom, Devotion, Loyalty, Bravery, Loyalty and Hope. Togethere with the powers of the ancient beasts, the Aether Aeons, the Umbra were shortly defeated and the darkness was once again pushed away... But times have changed now... war has begun to ravage the 7 quadrants, a new darkness is slowly rising but the Luma Sages have been relegated to nothing more than a relic lost to the sands of time.
Location: Jungle Moon Phi, Fiercia Colony S, Quadrant 6
A ship of Academite design enters the atmosphere and lands on the humble village by the river banks, the shuttle opens and a lone figure, covered in black armor and a helmet covering head, obstructing his face leaps out. He heads over to the chief's tent, he pulls back the curtain and there sits a Fiercian elder. He introduces himself to her as Aeraki, the helmet modulates his voice which sounds rather robotic, she obliges his courtesy and introduces herself as Faria.
Aeraki:
[ Now that the courtesies are out of the way, I am sure you understand why I am here.]
Faria:
[ Yes - I understand, although excuse me for saying this, but I didn't think you Academites were believers in the old tales of the Aether.] she joked to the fairly straight laced boy.
Aeraki:
[ Perhaps - But I am of the belief that every possibility must be explored at least once]
a glowing bubble appears on his palm and pops open, from inside an old tome drops to his hand, Faria's eyes widen in disbelief and she laughs joyously at this.
Faria:
[ I thought that tome was lost to time... you - you've been there, haven't you? I like the cut of your jib kid, I'll be rooting for ya! *chuckles*]
She tosses a small pendant which Aeraki grabs, it holds a vial of blood at the center.
- [ Put that pendant on your ship and go as fast as you can... the barrier separating this realm and the next will fault, after that you'll be able to enter Aethimia.]
Aeraki pays Faria for her services and goes back the way he came, he puts the pendant on the hood of his ship and takes off.
Aeraki:
[ Thrusters preparing to fire off at full capacity, Infi, initiate stasis pod, coordinates set. I will see my mother's vision... Time to embrace the unknown!]
Aeraki's ship begins increasing in speed the pendant begins emitting a bright light as the ship's speed rises, a portal opens as the ship continues forward, everything starts going haywire, the ship is shaking incessantly and the alarm is blaring, it the ship is moving rapidly and its feels like a torpedo going at light speed, Aeraki is beginning to slip away.
Aeraki:
(I knew - I knew that... opening a dimensional fault would be a tall task, but I never imagined it would be so difficult... )
Aeraki loses consciousness, his eyes slowly closing, everything is drowning out, he sinks deeper into the void.
