1 How it all began
"Charlotte, the ship can't hold much longer we gotta get outta here"....a woman shouted. she was dressed in a leather onesie. orange stripes slashed each side of her shoulder. An orange belt went round her waist. she wore metal cyber boots that exposed a dim orange light from the bottom of the heels. she sat in what seemed like a space ship. Charlotte stood with a 8 feet tall man like creature. his skin glowed blue underneath
the black Galactic armour which carried a black symbol on it spelling, 'Aeon'. his eyes were crystal blue , highlighting the darkness of his black shoulder length hair .
Charlotte wore the exact same leather uniform as the woman that called out to her.
a look of disappointment clouded her face as she stared deep into the eyes of this Alien.
"so that's how this is gonna end?"...
her eyes teared up.
"Charlotte look, you've got to get outta here. The Chronomians are waging war and I don't want you to get hurt."...
"what about our child?".....she raised her tone. holding unto her flat slim stomach.
"if I make it alive, I'm gonna come down to earth but not now".....he begged. he held unto her shoulders and smiled weakly at her. his eyes showed that he was sorry for letting her go. he wasn't sure he would make it alive, but till the last moment his eyes glittered at the sight of her.
"Your so pretty".....he chuckled and gave her a big hug.
she wrapped her arm around him and both of them sobbed quietly. she pulled herself slowly from him and them gave him a big punch in the guts.
"uhhhhh"...he groaned out in pain, holding unto his stomach.
she wiped her tears with the back of her palms.
"stay safe. and if you die, I'll tell our child, you left us for space burgers"...
"ow"...he continued groaning out in pain. he realized what Charlotte had just said.
"wait what?".....he quickly looked back up at Charlotte who was already sprinting to the ship.
he used his superspeed which left red rays chasing after his body that moved 2539 miles per hour, to get to Charlotte. she stopped in shock at his presence that suddenly appeared in front of her.
"hey, stop doing that".....she Whined.
"What did u say you were gonna tell my kid?"....he gave a sarcastic frown.
"Nothing much".....she gave a warm smile to him.
"i love you "...he said.
"i love you too"... she pecked him and rushed into the space ship that immediately took off into the galaxy.
he sighed as he watched the space ship dissappear out of sight.
the sound of a blast that chattered the metal walls behind him startled him. he ducked and dodged the flying piece of metal that flew towards him. he looked back and saw Alien computerized Octopuses holding what seemed like Guns. About 3 of them.
"Alien Detected"... they all said at the same time in an electronic voice.
"catch me first , octo".....he smirked and then ran with his superspeed away from them.
Charlotte sat in the passenger seat of the ship. computerized machines and glass screens filled the space round about, leaving a small space for the two riders to seat and steer the ship. her Friend typed fast on each keyboard, her eyes focused on the glass electronic screens that showed images of galaxies and space stations as they sped by.
"Computer, initiate Atmosphere landing ".....she rushed her voice. her attention still focused on the many computers she touched and typed on at the same time.
"Initializing :Atmosphere landing. T minus 30 minutes to earth's prime meridian"... the computer replied.
"Good. until then, auto pilot us".....she said again.
"Auto pilot failed, as ship is too weak to assist manual function ".....
the computer replied .
"ughh"...she groaned out in annoyance. she leaned back on her chair and stared at the computer screen. she noticed Charlotte's quietness. she turned to see her staring sadly at the ship's dashboard.
" Charl ...are you okay?"....she sighed at her.
" Yeah I'm good".....she answered in a low tone. Her voice shaked as though she were about to cry.
"how are you gonna tell your mum?"....Rena unlocked her seatbelt and turned to her.
Charlotte raised her voice at her in sudden anger.
" what do you want me to tell her huh!, that i went to space and got married to an alien soldier who left me with his child to go fight some war!"....
Rena looked at her with pity. she ignored the fact that her co worker just disrespected her. it was as though she understood her pain. Charlotte turned to Rena slowly. she noticed Rena's submission to her sudden anger.
"Rena I'm so sorry, I just__"...
"its okay, I get it"...she smiled at her. she got up and moved to her, wrapping her arms around her in a big hug".....
"he's gonna be okay, Charlotte. he's a strong man....well beast, I don't know"...
Charlotte chuckled at Rena's words.
"He's an Aeonian, Rena".....
The ship got hit from behind by something that seemed like a bomb suddenly, sending Rena to the ground. Charlotte rushed out of her seat and helped Rena up.
"are you okay?"....she rushed her tone.
"yeah, but what was that?".....Rena got up. rubbing her head from the back.
Charlotte rushed to the computer screen.
"Aida, what is going on?"...
the screen changed images and a view of the back of the spaceship popped on the screen.
"Scanning incoming objects".....
The computer replied.
A light ray came out from a small hole covered with glass underneath the spaceship. its light reached very far into the atmosphere and scanned what seemed like different space ships approaching thiers.
" Incoming: Chronomian soldiers
Army motive and strategy: Attack Intruder humans.
human Data Targeted: Charlotte Green, International space Ranger and Rena Romerez, International loud mouth.
Status of human target: Charlotte can escape with the life pod. Rena is doomed ".....
"HEY!!"....Rena yelled at Aida.
while Charlotte busted into laughter.
Rena ignored her and rushed over to the computer.
"Aida initiate weapons mode now"....
Another hit slammed into the space ship, tumbling it and flinging both Ranger to the wall of the ship.
"weapons mode cannot be reached as ship is to weak to attack. I suggest we use Rena as bio fuel"...
"WHAT!!".....Rena exclaimed.
she turned to Charlotte who was also on the floor with her.
"okay, this is the last time I let you talk me into allowing you program the computer system "....she scolded her and got up.
"it's not my fault, Aida doesn't like you".....Charlotte giggled.
"ughhhh"...Charlotte moaned out in pain, holding unto her stomach. she couldn't get up.
"Charl you good?"..... Rena worried for a second about her.
"Nevermind bout me, get us outta here".....she managed to gather some words .
Rena started again. moving from one computer screen to another. Typing as fast as she could, looking for something that didn't seem to have been helping the situation .
Rena turned to a computer screen. the one that had footage and view of the incoming Chronomians. her eyes opened in shock. The tension in the air grew worse.
"uh oh "...she said to herself, unknowing that Charlotte had heard her. Charlotte sat on the floor still. she leaned to the wall of the ship, still holding unto her stomach.
"Rena what is it?"....she asked worriedly.
"um...um...well, the Chronomians sent a missile bigger than our ship to us and it's about to hit us".....her voice shook.
"what!.....ughhhhh, I don't feel so good"....she said to herself. the pain in her stomach grew worse.
"Aida do something!!"....Rena yelled, running from one keyboard and screen to another.
"would you like me to play you a death montage?".....the computer voice replied.
"what?, No!"...Rena snapped in frustration meanwhile Charlotte still struggled on the floor with the unbearable pain in her gut.
"Rena are we gonna die?"....she forced herself to speak.
"um....."..Rena chuckled nervously, her attention still focused on the computers, "Not until the missile hits us".....she chuckled sarcastically.
"oh Great!"...Charlotte exclaimed. she began to glow. she looked at her palms to see that they were glowing blue. her head that touched the wall transferred this blue energy to the ship and covered it Roundabout.
"Alert, Alert, Alert"...Aida spoke suddenly.
"Aida what is it?".....Rena rushed her words.
"Unknown force field is shielding the ship, May I proceed to activate superspeed as we are about to hit the earth's Atmosphere.
"what?,....yes yes proceed".....
Rena turned to see Charlotte glowing, she rushed up to her.
"oh my gosh".....she marveled at the sight of Charlotte's glowing skin..
"stop Aida from speeding"....
Charlotte gasped harshly for breath as the pain became increasingly worse.
Rena held unto her palm, to support her.
"why not, we are almost in earth".....
She answered.
"if this missile follows us into earth, it could take out the whole planet "...her voice shaked.
"Aida stop!, let the missile hit us".
...Rena screamed at the computer.
Charlotte's eyes widened in shock at what Rena had just told Aida to do.
" i know i told you to save Earth but YOU WANNA KILL US ?!!".....
Charlotte yelled.
" The kid inside you must have been startled by the tension and released some kind of shield from your body, I can feel it".....
"Rena i think your plan is the worst plan ever".....Aida interrupted in her electronic voice.
"trust me Charlotte "...Rena assured her. she pulled her up slowly and moved her to a chair. the space ship that had moved very fast slowed down and the missile was even closer.
Rena buckled Charlotte's seat belt for her and then rushed into her seat.
"T minus 10 seconds till death and annihilation of the two most popular space rangers on Earth. plus Rena, your boyfriend texted your phone, he says he's breaking up with you "....Aida interrupted.
"Yes. thanks for that wonderful information Aida, just moments before I may be blown to bits!".....Rena mimicked Aida's computerized voice.
"okay y'all"....Rena said nervously
"missile hits us in 3....2....
.....1"...
the large missile slammed into the space ship and exploded, throwing the unharmed ship quickly into the earth's atmospere without any form of control.
both women screamed thier lungs out as the ship moved 4000 miles per hour into the earth's Atmosphere.
the front of the ship caught fire as they flew straight into the middle of the earth, where the Nasa had planted a small rocket receive station awaiting the arrival of the two space rangers.
both scientists, world top mechanical engineers, astronauts, media crew and Charlotte's mum stood anxiously waiting for the ship that had been reported to have failed in controls and was crashing directly into the earth.
"i hope my baby is okay "....her mum cried to herself.
the Nasa scientist that monitored the ship, sighed, a few seconds after, his eyes opened in shock.
"Go go go go go, they will hit the earth's floor soon. rush into the field!"....he yelled to the swat team behind him, who immediately rushed out .his voice had an urgency in it, he monitored the ship closely. his eyes staring undistracted at the screen. anxiety filled the air for everyone in the station as they waited anxiously for the crash of the ship.
it became seen from the sky and everyone rushed out into the desert to watch it reach the ground.
within minutes the ship got even more visible and the speed at which it fell became known to them. it became a few feet closer to the ground and even closer.
"it's gonna hit!!!!"...the swat team leader yelled at the top of his lungs to the men that surrounded its calculated landing spot round about.
Charlotte's mum hid her face in the arms of the scientist that hugged her but watch closely at the incoming ship.
"it gonna crash, spread the net!!"... the Swat leader screamed to the men that immediately pulled out some ball like metals and threw on the floor in a certain formation. the balls opened and formed a net and within seconds the ship hit the net and a loud earthquake like thud shook the desert. and within seconds everything became quiet. Everyone looked out into the field. Charlotte's mum too.
her eyes teared at the crashed ship on the net. A group of doctors rushed to site of the ship crash and luckily they Recovered Rena and Charlotte who had passed out in the pile of rubble.
