"All the nobles from the Crownlands who did not support my father during the war have already been captured and will be executed tomorrow their families will not suffer any harm but they will lose all their belongings and titles of nobility.

All the lords who were formerly vassals of the Tullys and disobeyed their lord to follow their king will receive a promotion of one rank of nobility as well as 5,000 to 50,000 gold dragons."

Tyrion then stood up and said:

"My king, I'm afraid no one knows what a title of nobility is."

The King looked at his hand with gratitude and began his long explanation:

"Thank you for reminding me it is true that all the houses gathered here are noble but how noble I imagine some of you will agree that House Tarly and House Rykker are not of equal status so to reward the houses that are the most loyal the most powerful and the richest in goods in culture and in history I have decided to separate the different noble houses into different classes.

Take the example of the Starks they have ruled with a cold hand over the north for more than 10,000 years they come from a royal house that fell at the time of my namesake who conquered and founded the 7 crowns they have many vassals and even if they are not the richest they have fought in many wars and own a vast territory I will grant House Stark the title of Duke which is one of the highest castes a house can reach preceded only by the Princely House of Dorne the Martells and the Royal House Targaryen…"

All the nobles were now focused on what the king was saying as it concerned absolutely everyone and not the interests of one or the other.

"...In all there will be 10 different noble classes King, Prince, Archduke, Duke, Marquis, Count, Viscount, Baron, Baronet, Knight."

"So it's just an empty title," said Tywin Lannister without any fear of the king who tormented everyone.

Contrary to what one might think the king was not offended that the old lion interrupted him in fact he didn't even seem upset he just shook his head and said:

"I have taken over Varys's intelligence network and completely merged it with mine which means I am kept informed of all your actions all your meetings and even the color of your shit, honestly the color of your shit does not interest me but I have found that many lords hide their harvest and their gold to avoid taxes..."

The powerful nobles began to frown while the lesser nobles began to shiver at the idea that this demon would land on their lands to ravage them like with the Tullys.

Even though the king said this with a smile everyone knew that behind that smile was a maw that would sever their heads from their shoulders at the first sign of treachery, the nobles were really all afraid of him and with reason everyone feared the old lion since he had destroyed the Tarbeck-Reyne alliance but the king had directly destroyed one of the 7 kingdoms.

"I'm talking about taxes because from now on taxes will be paid monthly, knights will have to pay 50% of their total earnings baronets 45%, barons 40% viscounts 35% counts 30% marquises 25% dukes 20% princes 15% and an Archduke only 10%"
