As Aegis shook in his sleep and Weiss with Willow tried to calm him down with their presence helping little as his breath little calmed down, his mind was witnessing one of the cycles he always despised...
Willow who after becoming pregnant, started to sleep by Aegis side every night with Weiss on the other side as even without any intimate activity, both sought the warmth Aegis gave them...
But for Aegis once again witnessed the birth and falls of Empires that spread through entire Galaxies and universes, all of it in his dreams, yet he subconsciously knew they were real as these were memories of souls he housed inside himself...
He saw how one human Empire fought parasites that took their knowledge and skills with each human or technology they corrupted, how they cleansed alien world that had signs of that parasites and in panic completely destroyed it even with the aliens present, inviting two-front war that in the end destroyed them...
He saw how one male human took down any faith in mankind history, just to become one of them, forever imprisoned on the golden throne where he for thousand's and thousand's of years witnessed once glorious Empire becoming more and more a blight he once sought to cleanse, unable to stop as his own body didn't listen, nor the supposed believers that took his word's and twisted them for their own purposes...
He saw how mankind waged war on their own word against the gods and demons of all religions, just to lose, but not before taking the entire world and all gods with them with one monstrous explosion...
He saw how humans were betrayed and left by aliens they once protected and belonged into, of how all of their supposed allies crumbled their defenses down as slavers used such opportunity, taking humans as pets, and all the alien allies that they once helped just stood on the side, watching it all with disinterest...
He saw how heroes were again and again and again summoned to other worlds by the gods to fight for the people who didn't deserve salvation...
He saw both criminals, villains and heroes killing each other in a never-ending cycle that was broken when invaders came, uniting through millennia of hatreds, just to give their race a chance to fight of the demons from the abyss...
He saw human heroes, legends that were written in history fight and being used by the people who deserved death, of their pain when they were ordered to do things against their wills, of how once most glorious ones now were nothing more just tools, for the depraved to play with...
Again and Again and Again Aegis witnessed births, rises and falls of the entire Empire's that enclosed the whole galaxies to mighties heroes falls...
And he became sick of it, and Aegis long ago understood that he saw just one side of the coin, a coin where humanity always drawn the short stick and was sparred of the horrors humans themselves made...

Weiss said as she laid in her bed and thought about her previous visit of her, no, not hers, but this version of Jacques Schnee, or Gele, who was by all accounts the same man, the same monster like her's until he was bedridden...
By her's brother not-brother, if she believed in the rumors or facts that weren't just acknowledged by any member of Schnee family but was common knowledge...

Ruby nodded with her head as she stood up from her bed and walked to Weiss as she laid beside her and took her into a hug, after all, hugs helped, that was something Ruby believed until now...
Weiss just accepted the gesture from Ruby with thankfulness as she sought the warmth Ruby radiated and that calmed her nerves down as sleep took her worries aways as both Ruby and Weiss fell asleep, embracing each other...

"The fact that Adam is dead, and from what I heard, by Aegis hand no less."
Blake sighed as she put her book down and looked from the window on the broken moon.
"I... I don't know, it... It feels... Hollow..."
Blake said as Yang nodded with her head.
"Yea, I get that, I feel the same you know? To know that I cant kick that bastard into his small balls makes even my missing hand twitch in annoyance..."
Yang said as she grinned for little until even her grin fell down as she looked at Blake who just threw her book at her.
"Hey!"
"Stop it, Yang... If you want to bring up these things, why don't you tell me how you take the news of Raven trying to be a mother?"
"Aw... I just screwed myself, didn't I?... You know what? I too, don't know, it... It just hurts to see this Raven trying to be a mother when my own... Is it just Aegis's influence or does Raven truly wish to be a mother? It is all just soo strange like fucking nut all of it..."
Yang said as she threw her hands into the air, giving up as her head hurt from the overthinking...
"Yea, it's all nuts arent it?..."
"Don't tell me, like seriously don't..."
Yang said to Blake who weakly smiled at her, even after all this time they still bore the scars they gained in their lives...

Raven smiled as she covered Yang back into covers she seemed to vehemently hate as she always kicked them away, then she came over to Ruby who just seemed to chomp her red cape...
Raven carefully took the cape away as Ruby made a disappointed sound in her sleep and wanted to go away just to stop as someone held her hand.
"Donttt gooo..."
Ruby seemed to whisper in her sleep as she held Raven's hand...
"Mommy... Daddy... Don't goo... Don't leave me..."
"Hahhh..."
Raven sighed as she sat down beside Ruby who even in sleep hugged her fiercely as if afraid of losing her...
"Mommy smell funny..."
Ruby said and Raven's eyebrow twitched for a little just to sigh as she patted Ruby's head.
"Im not Summer, but I will try to be a good mother to both, my little dragon and you little rose..."
Raven said quietly to the sleeping red reaper and as she said it, Ruby seemed to relax her hug, making Raven gently smile...
"I truly lost more when I left... Didn't I..."
Raven said, not knowing about Yang who was now fully awake and teary-eyed from both happiness and confusion as she finally witnessed Raven trying to be the mom she always wished for...
