"...They want what for this technology?"

"Er yes, additionally for the cultural works they want to observe our side of... Deal."

Carter said as president and others looked at Carter, Woosly and doctor Weir who all had pensive expressions, well, minus Carter who looked on the side, not wanting to see their expressions.

"How dare they question our credibility! And who are they to demand from us something that isn't their problem?!"

Senator Robert Kinsey, who until now was very quiet, said through gritted teeth.

"Robert? Please be quiet."

Al Gore said as he rested his hands on his spacious desk as he deeply thought.

"So they want to send their observers to watch our recycling operations in exchange for giving us recycling technology that would make our wastes completely non-exist?... Well, gentlemen, I don't know how you, but I see this as win-win, Solitas observers or not, with such technology, I don't see no reason not to use these mountains of garbage to be processed for something that we can use."

President said as others delved into the discussion...

"That said, these all are good things, but were there any changes in the weapon trade?"

Asked one of the Generals who were high enough to know about the operation, after all, it were his soldiers that were sent to that mountain...

"No."

"Yes."

Weir said as first just to shot look on Jack who shrugged.

"So which is it? Yes? or no? Doctor Weir? Jack?"

"Its... Complicated."

Doctor Weir said, and as she was about to speak more, Jack just shrugged and said.

"They want us to become Japan."

Jack said, not seeing the point in prolonging the topic, making others in the room looking confused, well minus the military inclined heads who seemed to gain a look of understanding.

"They want to have a military base on our soil?"

Al Gore, who served as a soldier, slowly asked as he too understood what Jack meant by that.

"...Yes, but not precisely..."

Weir said as she sighed at Jack's not-so-accurate words.

"What, it looked accuarete enought for me, so what if its in sky or space? It would be near us enough for their guns to completely kill us all, Goauld or not."

Jack said.

"In truth, it is more akin to letting us there, the Solitas was clear on fact that they already know where we are, and in truth, we don't know what space capabilities their ships have, in truth there already could be their ships in our orbit without us knowing anything, from what we know is just that they just don't care enough to send someone there until we became important enough for them..."

Weir said as she massaged her temples.

"They what?!"

Kinsey shot up as he heard what Weir said.

"Sir, I think that it isn't wrong to say that they are like Asgards, but where Asgards cant proactively send someone there to protect us, Solitas is willing to have one of their Sentinel bases in orbit of our moon in case Goauld attack..."

Carter said as she saw the already brewing debate...

"Absolutely outrageous! America will not have-!"

"Enough! This is just if- and whats, do not make such rash decisions that even do not belong to you, senator!"

Al Gore said as he banged on his desk, silencing senator and others who spoke or rather screamed their opinions...

"That said, it doesn't belong to me too, at least not for long, with my term coming to an end, any such decision should be made by my successor, after all, aloof or kind, I do not suppose that they would take well if I accepted their deal just for my successor to deny them..."

Al Gore said as he looked around the room, seeing others' bedruglindly agree with him.

"That said, I still can help my country without the need to sell our souls, such as finalizing smaller deals, doctor Weir, mister Woosley what can you tell me about their infrastructure?"

Al Gore asked as he had already read the reports, still it was both fascinating and strange to know there is a nation that seemed to find a balance between being both Utopia and Dystopia, promoting freedom behind iron bars, Al Gore wasn't blind, he could see the reason why the person who created a nation in such way, after all, he was already president for almost ten years, and as such knew that if the right person had such powers over his nation, then he could do a lot of good... Or bad...

That said, in his years, Al Gore found out just how powerless the president of the united states actually is, being bound by laws, senators, businessmen, and so much more, in the end, sometimes Al Gore thought that he was just glorified head clerk rather than the president of the strongest nation on Earth...

--------------------

There was a clang-like sound followed by the sound of screeching iron...

"There isn't any signal from his majesty..."

An armored man said as he lifted his sword and with a swift and clean-cut cut of strange creature...

"And these creations... They can speak, yet all they say is how mortals aren't supposed to by able kill them..."

Said another synthesized voice...

"Hm... Mark this world as hostile, still this is clearly a human city, a New York if im right..."

"Yes, it is, still let's retreat, we are close I can feel it, one or two more and we finally reach his majesty."

"...Good, Im already getting bored of killing these... Monster's..."

Said the Captain with a sword as he watched the monster change into golden motes of light... True, at first, these monsters seemed to be somehow immune to his sword, as if it was impossible to kill them with it, at least until he used more power, brute-forcing the sword to cleave them apart...

"The similarity to Grimms when they die is unnerving."

"...True."

Said another Captain as a portal behind them opened, and they followed into it, not noticing the eyes of owl that looked at them with both alarm and intrigue...

On Mount Olympus, grey eyes opened in interest as they saw something new...
