7 Chapter 5

Knowing that someone who was a devil was going to walk into the room, he stood up with his sword at the ready before the person came into sight. But when he saw him, he was confused. Instead of seeing a person, he could envision himself selling his soul. The newcomer looked like one of his friends, an average Japanese teen.

"Hi there. I'm the demon from The House of Gremory. Did you summon me?" The awkward voice of a teen with low self-esteem made Eden both confused about his devilish nature and relieved that he was dealing with someone who seemed somewhat normal.

"No, but I guess this guy did," Eden said, focusing attention on the man.

"Oh, sorry for not introducing myself. I'm Kenta Kosuke, and I'm the one who owns the home and summoned you. Also, what happens to be the name of the young man who saved my life?"

"I'm Eden Tsubakihara, a good samaritan and a Witch Knight."

"Thank you so much for saving my life, and you are a girl," Kenta said.

"Oh, she can't understand Japanese. She's Asia Argento," the devil interjected.

"You know her?"

"Yeah, I met her yesterday, and my name is Issei Hyoudou. You can call me Issei," he said casually, but Eden could tell he was afraid, not of him, but of his sword. Issei's gaze never left the sword even as they conversed.

"Have you taken a liking to Fateweaver?" Weaver sensed that its master wanted to intimidate Issei and emitted a bit of its aura. The room's atmosphere instantly changed from slightly weird and tense to everyone being on guard, feeling a sense of fear that the sword could take everything from them – a fear that proved justified.

Then, unexpectedly, something appeared on his arm: a red gauntlet with a large yellowish gem, reminding him of something.

"Weaver, what is that?" [It seems to be the Longinus boosted gear, but in an unawakened state.]

"Seriously, this guy has a Longinus," Eden thought. Issei seemed to adopt a fighting stance, though it was uncertain at best.

"I wasn't just trying to scare you, but..." In an instant, closing the distance, he took a swing at Issei, stopping right before he would have bisected the devil. Even though he stopped, the air generated by his high-speed movement startled Issei, knocking him back a couple of feet. Immediately, his future sight alerted him to people teleporting in, and he jumped back as multiple teleportation circles appeared on the floor.

The first person to emerge from the circle ran at him. He seemed slow in Eden's eyes, giving him a good look. A blonde pretty boy like himself, though not as pretty, but that wasn't the point. Anticipating from his future sight that this was the only devil who would attack him on sight, he dodged the slash and pushed him back with an {Air Wave}

The next arrival was a beautiful woman with long black hair tied in a ponytail and an hourglass figure. Her breasts were so large that they likely ranked in the top five biggest he had ever seen. The woman looked confused, seeing her ally on the ground.

"He just got a little rowdy. I didn't mean to hurt him or anything," he said with a smile. It seemed that was enough to prevent her from attacking him, as she looked him up and down, remarking, "Oh, boys do tend to get rowdy."

The next person appeared to be the leader of the devils. She was downright gorgeous, perhaps the second most beautiful woman he had ever seen, just under someone named F. She had long red hair that went to her shoulders and even bigger breasts than her servant he had just seen.

"I would appreciate it if you didn't pick on my servants," she said.

"We were just playing. No harm, no foul, right?"

"What do you mean, no harm?" she questioned, looking at her two servants who were still recovering from the 'attacks' he had sent their way. "I was just playing with Issei, and that other guy attacked first."

"Yuuto, my name is Yuuto Kiba," he corrected, getting back up.

"Well, Yuuto, you shouldn't attack people when you first see them." After saying that Yuuto sent him another glare

"I still feel like I deserve both an explanation and an apology for your attacking my servants."

"First, I saved your worshiper's ass over there, so you should be thanking me. And second, don't you have bigger things to worry about?" His future sight alerted him to the arrival of multiple fallen angels nearby. He could defeat them all, of course, but doing so without causing a major commotion while also protecting Asia and Kosuke would be challenging.

"Rias, there are multiple fallen angels headed to our location," the black-haired girl said. "And By the way, I'm Akeno," she added, extending her hand. Instead of shaking, he bowed down to kiss her hand, causing a blush to appear on Akeno's face.

"Akeno, stop flirting and prepare to teleport us out of here. We have Issei."

"Prez! We neeed take her with us!" Issei, now back on his feet, chimed in.

"Miss Gremory, I can take care of the girl and your contractor, but that will be on your tab," Eden offered.

After sending him a small scowl, she took a breath and said, "I you will foot the bill and also I would like to talk to you about this incident, could you meet me tomorrow at Kuoh Private Academy,"

"I will take you up on that," Eden agreed, then they all disappeared as suddenly as they arrived in a surge of magic

"Hey, Kosuke, gather clothes and any valuables you want to keep before we go."

"Yes, sir," Kosuke hurriedly headed upstairs for a minute, returning with pants on and a bag stuffed with clothes, along with what appeared to be a picture frame.

"Well, let's go," Eden said, leading his little party out the back door and into the alleys.

Navigating the city's alleys to evade the approaching fallen angels, Eden considered his options. Amidst this, he pondered Asia and Kosuke's situation. Asia had to accompany him home due to the fallen angels tracking her, while Kosuke, despite his knowledge of the supernatural allowing him to summon a devil, was just an ordinary guy. For convenience, Eden thought it best to find him lodging in a hotel. With a plan in place, he retrieved his phone from his Inventory and scrolled through his contacts, locating the desired contact. Initiating the call, he waited as it rang twice before a voice answered, "Hello, Sir, what do you need?"

"Hisato, I've told you to answer my calls on the first ring. If this happens again, I'll dock your pay by 20%," Eden stated

"Yes, boss, it won't happen again. How can I assist you?" Hisato responded with a touch of anxiety, causing Eden to smile.

"I need you to secure the most expensive hotel room in Kouh that I own for me."

"And when do you require this, Sir?"

"Now."

"Immediately, but... I will try. Let me make some calls."

"If I don't hear back from you within the next five minutes with positive news, I'll send the person who needs the room to your place and increase your rent," Eden warned before ending the call. Bullying of Hisato was one of his favorite pastimes. It had specific reasons: firstly, as a form of reprimand not for her own actions, but her husband's actions as he also worked under Eden; secondly, due to her reactions that consistently entertained him. If she had surrendered and not responded to his threats, his interest might have waned. However, her responses stayed fresh and engaging After roughly three minutes of waiting, Hisato called back, informing him of a suite in a hotel for Kosuke. "Kosuke, we've arranged accommodation for you. I'll teleport you to the hotel, where your room will be under the name 'Tsubakihara'," Eden relayed, promptly utilizing {Teleport} before Kosuke could respond, sending him there.

"Asia," she said, her voice trailing.

"Ah, yes," she responded absently.

"You will be staying at my place since it has magical barriers to protect you from fallen angels."

"Thank you," she expressed her gratitude in the same way as before. However, given the likely upheavals in her life, he chose to be understanding.

Using {Teleport}, he executed the spell swiftly. With a flash of mana and the familiar sensation of weightlessness that accompanied teleportation, he found himself transported. "Home sweet home," he exclaimed as he arrived in the grand entrance room of his mansion. The room exuded opulence, adorned in a lavish Victorian style. Asia, drawn from her daze, glanced around the room.

"I'll be staying here?" she inquired.

"Yes. Head up the stairs, and feel free to use any unlocked rooms. An unseen servant will wake you for breakfast," he informed her.

"Thank you again," she expressed her gratitude before proceeding with care up the imperial staircase that welcomed all who entered the mansion.

Observing her ascent, he contemplated whether to retire for the night. With a thought of {Under Palace: Training Dungeons}, he found himself immediately transported to another room within the boundless expanse of his mansion, known as the Under Palace. The mansion's vastness was concealed through a separate dimension, the Under Palace, ensuring that mundane visitors remained oblivious to its true nature. Among Eden's favorite activities were the training simulations, which comprised roughly 70% of his daily routine in this new life. Since he starting hanging out with his friends he had spent less time these simulations, he still loved them.

The room, a dimly lit stone chamber with a central blue portal and a holographic control panel welcomed him. With practiced precision, he configured the parameters for the upcoming challenge. "Terrian, let's go with Urban. Enemies: Demons. Objective? Hmm, let's go for Target Elimination and, of course, Nightmare difficulty. For time dilation, let's do medium, but let's get me a timer that kicks me out when it's time for breakfast."

After finalizing the settings on the control panel, the portal's hue transitioned from blue to green, signaling the successful creation of the simulation. "Weaver, are you prepared?" Eden inquired.

[I should be asking you that; you seemed somewhat rusty today.]

"Shut up," he retorted before confidently stepping into the portal.
