Into the Deep Valley Forest

Tang Long who was being chased by the bear type monster for a while now and was getting exhausted by the minute, there were many times he almost got caught by the bear but was still able to defend luckily.

This time Tang Long still did the same thing by throwing arrows towards its weak spots. The bear having seen the attack previously decided to dodge it this time. When the arrows passed by the bear, it had a smug face as it turned to look at his prey thinking it would have an interesting face as he missed his attack, only to see dirt flying right on his face.

ROOOOAAAARRRRRRR...

The bear roared as it tried to clean itself while hitting in the trees everywhere.

"That stupid thing is still chasing me, I can finally breathe some air," said Tang Long while breathing heavily after attacking it.

"I don't even know anymore where I am now" while looking around the forest and see if he can use anything to get rid of the bear.

Tang Long had decided to hide from the bear to take some rest. While he was doing that, he was still thinking of ways to lose it or if he can somehow then kill it.

He has heard that some fierce beast that gets very mad can even follow your scent to your home and looking at the situation here, that bear clearly shows intelligence so it will definitely decide to follow his previous scent if it can't find him.

Thinking of scent, Tang Long got an idea and rubbed the leaves and dirt around him on his skin. "It is said that this was a method used by hunters when hunting to mask their scent. At least this way I can buy myself some time to rest and think about how to deal with this stupid thing" he thought.

While he was resting, the bear had finally got rid of the dirt in his eyes, it was very angry again and wanted to tear that human apart. When it looked up to kill that human the bear could not find him anywhere. It turned its head around in a hurry but still couldn't find him. Thinking that its prey was finally tired and had decided to hide it roared in excitement as its time has come to feast on that puny human's flesh. Thinking how satisfying it would become if he plays this hide and seek game and when it finally catches him. Thinking of the expression again it roared again and started sniffing around.

It is said that bears have a strong sense of smell and this was the same for this guy as it took a huge sniff of the air around him to see which direction the prey has hidden itself.

But all was not as the bear wasn't able to smell that dirty bastard anywhere. Thinking that his prey may have gotten away, it started thrashing its surrounding in hopes that maybe he would be able to take the prey out of its hole.

Tang Long who was looking at all of this, took a sigh of relief that he could finally rest somewhat but then looking at the utter destruction caused by the bear he started having cold sweats on his back as he definitely can't allow this bear to walk away alive.

Thinking in this direction, he finally made his decision and started to look at his surroundings again. looking from afar he saw a large tree having long vines on its branches and got an idea to use it.

Slowly walking in the tree's direction, Tang Long was still careful as to not alert the bear and kept his pace steady.

When he was finally there, he can see the whole tree which was probably the biggest one in the whole forest. It was so large and wide that he could not even estimate its size and had his mouth open wide.

"Damn what a huge freaking tree, I wonder how old this thing here is? " said to himself while looking around it.

Just when he was taking a look at the tree from all sides, he saw something that gave him a huge scare.

"The .. this .... thi.... what the hell," shouted Tang Long

On the backside of the tree, he saw a huge valley, so long that he couldn't see the end of it, And looked so deep that he got scared. It was as if he was looking at a deep abyss and the abyss was looking back to him.

Looking at the scene he took a few steps back and fell on his behind and started to take deep breaths while having cold sweats. Looking at the scene in front of him he thought" That scared the hell out of me, What is this?"

After a few minutes, he got back up and took another look at the valley clearly this time. The tree was growing on the cliff and part of its body looked as if sliced by something.

Then he looked at the cliff only to see its sides were also clean and shining like marble as if some artist has scrubbed the whole cliff clean.

Some of the roots can be seen growing from inside the cliff, hanging out going straight down to who knows where.

Thinking for some time, Tang Long finally remembered what Feifei was telling earlier and said "Don't tell me, this is the valley she was talking about. The Deep Forest Valley."

Taking a deep breath, he thought that the name was definitely suitable for it.

"I wonder how it was formed. Looking at the signs, it looks like it was cut by something sharp" While taking a step forward to see "I wonder how deep this is " looking at the bottom of the valley.

Taking a look at the valley, Tang long got an idea and said " Why not I just push that stupid bear down from here. Looking at the geography of the place, it will be difficult to know that there is a valley here, and If it can somehow see the valley, I will use these vines to strangle him in with them" While looking at the vines on the tree.

"Yosh!!! let's do this!!! " As he lifted his hand in the air, forming of a fist.

Tang Long cut down some long vines with the help of his knife. He took some of the vines and tied them between the trunks of two trees so the foot of the bear could be stuck in it falling to its demise, then he digs a hole of a foot ahead of the tied ropes and struck some wood branches and bamboo sticks in them he found while sharping the top of them. He also spread some wines across them so that it will stick to the bear.

"Although this couldn't kill that stupid bear, but it will definitely feel some pain," thought Tang Long.

"Now what should I do so that bear can fall" As he wonders and looked around to see something useful.

Looking at his back there was only one arrow left and a small hunting knife with him. Then he looked at the sword that Meihui had left him and said" Its been half an hour now, they should be reaching soon".

Thinking about Meihui he smiled and thought to do everything he can so that he can survive and get a payback from her.

Just thinking of what she would offer, he had a perverted smile on his face, dreaming of what he would do with her. Even if he is dense to his surroundings and knows nothing about love and feelings, it doesn't mean he won't have any dreams at all. I mean come on, even Nerds and Shut-In's dream about this stuff even when they don't like to go out much. (A.N: No hard feelings guys even I am a Nerd!)

After getting out of his delusions, Tang Long thought about how to push the four-armed bear down the valley. After some time thinking, he only came up with one plan.

He knew that the risk was very high and he will die if anything goes wrong but then thinking of the faces of his family, he firmed his resolve and started to work on executing the plan.

"That's it! Now if the plan could work perfectly then I can go back to see everyone " looking at the final arrangements that he had made he nodded to himself and got ready to meet the four-armed bear that was still thrashing things around looking for him.

"Well, looking at it, I don't think I will have to do much of convincing so it can follow me, the guys already nuts as it is".

Then Tang Long ran towards the bear to confront it and bring it to his death.
