Chap #31 Training

The Next morning Tang Long Woke up feeling especially energized. But then he looked at himself and said " Why am I, Naked!???"

"Ok! Let's think about it, I remember that I was wearing clothes last night right. Then afterward I had a really nice sleep. ... So did I took them off during my sleep? Well, not that it matters." Thought Tang Long.

After getting up, he stretched himself and thought "Hmm... I feel really full of energy. I guess that's a good start."

After taking a bath he moved out of his room and said "Let's go to her to have breakfast. I will ask her about my new training method from her while eating?!" As moved towards another courtyard.

"Now that I remember, I don't see Meihui today? Usually, she is already standing there to greet me?"Thought Tang Long.

"Well, she might be busy with something," Said Tang Long out loud.

When got to Chen Xueli's courtyard, he didn't find her there and after looking around for a moment, He found her in the back garden of the house supposedly dozing off under a tree's shadow.

Thinking for a moment he smiled and walked towards her. Even when he already got near her, she didn't wake up, so he gently caressed her cheek as he looked at her but didn't wake her up instead sat in front of her while looking at her sleeping peaceful face.

After what looked like an hour or so Chen Xueli's eyelashes twitched a little as she slowly opened her eyes and said " Well! That was a good nap," as she stretched herself.

"Yeah! You did look like having a good nap as you didn't even notice me," Said Tang Long suddenly.

Hearing a voice near her she was startled, but looking that it was him she blushed a bit and asked "Tang Long! How long have you been here for?"

"Well! It's been an hour and so, I wanted to ask about something but you looked so cute sleeping that I didn't want to wake you up!" said Tang Long as he teased her.

"Oh! I was busy last night so I didn't have a good sleep" Said Chen Xueli as she got red when she remembered something but asked, "So what did you came here for again?"

"Well, I wanted to have breakfast with you and ask about how I should proceed with the training? I usually only did running by carrying weights so I don't know much now," said Tang Long

"Hmm, Well, I don't mind helping you but are you alright with that?" Asked Chen Xueli.

"Hmm, yes it's fine. I just want to get stronger faster. So I can't wait to start already," said Tang Long.

"Hmm! Hmm! Well, If you have already decided then let's have some breakfast first and I will explain things to you, and in the afternoon we will start your train," Said Chen Xueli

"I am alright with that. By the way, have you seen Meihui? Usually, she is the one that comes early but I haven't seen her? " Asked Tang Long.

Lady Chen had a red hue on her face but maintained a poker face saying "Well, I told her to focus on her cultivation as it's already been so long and she is still on the 6th stage till now, So she's been looking for a breakthrough. Let her be, I will bring something for us," As she hurriedly went somewhere.

"Hmm, I guess it can't be helped" Said Tang Long as he waited for her return.

After a few minutes, she returned with dishes in hand and they had breakfast together. Not long after Meihui also joined them saying she was tired training so she also slept. Though it was kind of weird, I didn't delve into it as I was looking forward to my own training.

"Well then, Now that everything is done let's start!" said Lady Chen.

"As you know even though you have fused with the blood and unlocked your meridians it's not like you will have a smooth sailing towards the top without showing effort for it. If you think that you can just sit and relax while eating pills and stuff to grow then you should leave now, for I don't have a hobby of showing such mercy. Even if I have taken care of you all these years, don't expect me to hold back once I started. But you don't have to worry as everything I will do is for your benefit. So do you still want to continue with having me as your teacher for now?" Said Lady Chen in a cold voice as nothing of the previous warmth could be found.

Tang Long who heard her looked a bit astonished as he has not seen this side of her, well he has heard people saying that she is a cold woman but she always talked warmly with him. So the sudden change was a bit overwhelming for him but considering that he was here to train seriously and that she was also serious, he smiled and said "You don't have to hold back, I will not disappoint you."

Raising an eyebrow Lady Chen said "Hoh! You don't have to worry, After I am done with you there will be nothing left for you to disappoint me for"

'I Don't know why but I am having a bad feeling now' Thought Tang Long.

"Do I have to really do this" said Tang Long as he saw himself. 'I thought that I was going to do some special training not this again!'

"Yes, You have to do this. You were a very weak boy even for your age and because of that, you have almost no muscle. I mean well you have been practicing to increase them before but even though they are well sculptured there is not enough density or power there. So what we are going to do is increase the muscle density on your body and with the effects of the blood, It will give you a fast regeneration that will help develop new stronger muscles and also increase the power of the previous one's." Said Chen Xueli. " And I have also prepared special meals for you that will help increase your weight and muscles."

"Well, I can understand that but why do I have to wear these weights? After all, after I have entered the 3rd or 4th stage they will become useless." Said Tang Long " And why is it that I am not practicing the book that I found in the valley, I thought you said that it's a body tempering method good for me ?!"

If anyone doesn't know about how much power a Level 3rd stage has then let me tell you.

At stage 1 body tempering a person can lift 50 pounds weight and at stage 2 about 100 pounds than at level 3 200 pounds but it changes at level 4 as you can lift up to 400 pounds. That is why it's a major breakthrough point. At level 5-6 we can lift 500-600 pounds respectively and then at level 7 which is also a breakthrough major point our strength increases to 1500 pounds, At Level 8-9 it's 1750-2000 pounds and at peak of the 9th, it's 2500. Once a person can break through to the Qi refining stage then it adds an extra 5000 pounds totaling 7500.

The weights that Tang Long was wearing were only 50 pounds each on his leg and arms and if he takes one on his chest then it will be of 100 pounds only which he can easily overcome if he entered the fourth stage.

Knowing what Tang Long was thinking Chen Xueli smiled brightly as she said " You don't have to worry about that because the weights I have given you are enchanted. They will increase the weight on your body as you continue to breakthrough and you don't have to worry about it till you are in Qi refining stage."

"Whattt.!!! " Tang Long said with a pale face.

"Hehe! And one more thing you will never take them off from now onwards until I tell you. And you don't have to worry about them getting dirty, I have specially asked the blacksmith to enchant it with a cleaning rune and waterproof rune so even if you are all sweaty and take a bath it won't affect them. " Said Chen Xueli with a smile.

" Wait a minute so so are saying that I can't take them off even if I am sleeping or taking a bath? " Asked Tang Long.

" Hoho! Yes that right, Oh and don't try to take them off only I have the key for it. So even If you want to take them off you won't be able to." Said Chen Xueli.

For a moment there Tang Long couldn't believe that she was the same woman who always pampered him as he asked " Is this really necessary? And What About the thing I asked earlier?"

" Hmm? Oh, that technique! Well, It has a strength requirement of 10000 pounds with several body requirements like flexibility and so... That's why you won't be using it for now. And don't you worry even when this method is quite crude. It still has amazing benefits and besides this is the fastest way to make you stronger so deal with it." Said Chen Xueli while smiling at him.

Tang Long also knew that it was a good method as he also did this weight training before but that was it. It wasn't to the point where he had to sleep and take a bath while having weight attached to him. I mean come on everybody will prefer having a beauty attached to them rather than having dead weight.

" Don't worry, I will work you enough so those weights are the least of your worries for now," Said Chen Xueli.

For a moment there I was starting to doubt my decision again.
