A Rank 4 Mutant beast 1

Today was the best day I ever had, as today I with my brothers and friend were going to the forest behind the hills on the backside of the village. I was very happy as on the way Big Brother Long and Meihui also decided to join us. When we went in there, although it was tough, I enjoyed myself very much.

We found many herbs that can be sold for lots of money and fought many fierce beasts.

As I was looking for herbs, I found a very beautiful looking flower on a pond. It was red in color looking very beautiful in contrast with the water.

I shouted back to everyone telling them what I found and then brother Huang told everyone that it was a rank 4 fire lotus flower, a very precious herb that can be sold for a lot of money.

When I heard it, I was in a daze and didn't hear through the rest of the conversation. By the time when I came back to my senses I saw Feifei walking towards the lotus with brother Huang following her closely.

Moments later I saw that Feifei picked the flower and was looking at it when suddenly brother Huang held her hands.

I who stayed behind looking at them said "Why does it look like they are on a Date, Brother Long. it doesn't look like we are in a dangerous forest but more like a lovers' garden" as I looked towards Brother Long only to see him frowning hard.

Seeing that something was wrong with his expression I asked "What's wrong big brother?"

Brother long didn't answer me but shouted towards Meihui" MEIHUI!!! Go! Quickly help them something is in the pond coming in there direction. HURRY!! "

then he shouted to the two "WATCH OUT, BEHIND YOU!!"

I who was beside him was shocked by his sudden outburst but then I looked at the pond as something came out of it and swiped its large hands towards Feifei. I Screamed and closed my eyes. After a moment when I opened my eyes to see the result, I saw Brother Huang being sent flying not to getting up. On the other hand, Feifei was sitting motionlessly looking towards that direction too.

But then suddenly I saw a large hand again being swiped towards Feifei and shouted but she didn't hear me but was saved by Meihui. I took a sigh of relief after looking that she was fine.

Then suddenly I heard Brother Tang shouting at me saying to go with Kai to pick up brother Huang and check his state. Although I was in shock I still followed his order as it was clear that he was having a hard time too just using the arrows to stop whatever it was.

I came towards Tang Kaii who was also in shock and pulled him making him get out of the dazed state and said"Come with me while Big Brother Long is buying us the time we need to go check on brother Huang and bring him to a safe distance.

Tang Kai seemed to have heard me and nodded then running with me towards the direction where brother Huang was laying.

I can see that he was still breathing from afar but it was very shallow, then looked at the back seeing brother long firing a volley of arrows at amazing speed toward the beast.

But it was not having an effect as the beast kept attacking him but it was a bit slow so Brother Long seemed to avoid it barely.

I knew that I have to hurry up as even I can see that it will be difficult to keep that thing at bay and started running towards brother Huang.

When I got there, I saw that his whole arm was twisted in a weird way and blood was leaking from his mouth. it was clear that he was critical but he was still breathing.

Looking at the situation I picked him up from his other arm and said Kai to hold his legs and ran towards a safe distance where Meihui and Feifei were resting.

I came towards them as Meihui saw me coming and help me put Brother Huang down. she then checked him but kept frowning looking at his condition.

Looking at her I asked, "How is it ?"

But what she said made me have cold sweat " Very bad, Need urgent medical attention"

Then I saw at Feifei who was still in a daze while holding the flower in her hand.

I came to her and held her saying it was not her fault and she kept crying and asking how he was.

It was obviously a shock for her too and she couldn't handle it well at the time but she stopped crying when she heard what Meihui said her" Don't waste time, we need to hurry as it was very difficult for the young master to give us time. if you want to help him than do it by picking him up to the way back to the village instead of mulling over here."

It was only now that I remembered that Brother Long is not with us and not even the beast was around but only able to see a large area damaged by a fierce fight. Looking at the damage done by the beast I asked "Where is Brother Long "

But Meihui looked like she didn't want to answer but clearly looked very worried but I asked again "Where is he? Tell me? And what happened to the beast?"

This time she answered me but it left me dazed as she said " He took the bait, and let it follow him instead to give us time to bring help for him"

I couldn't respond to it for a long time but the shouted

"WHAT!!! ARE U INSANE!! HE WILL DIE !! DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT HE HAD DONE TO BROTHER HUANG."

"That's why he took the role as we are strong and can go back to the village in a short time if we hurry and he is waiting for us to bring help," said Meihui coldly " So stop wasting time and let's go! I will pick this log and you guys keep a lookout for anything to come and deal with it."

Hearing her I also knew that we are short on time and brother Long will definitely die if we don't hurry up so I stood up helping her to carry brother Huang whom she said a log and started running outside of the forest with Feifei and Kai while guarding Meihui.

"Brother Long please be careful we will bring help fast," I said in my heart as I kept running fast.
