So what if destiny is against me

"Sometimes when a person is in a desperate situation, they do not see things clearly. In those times people with bad intentions will use this to manipulate and scheme you into making you fall into their trap."

In an unknown time and location:

"Sigh! Rogen do you really think you could hide from me?" asked Valena while looking at a certain asteroid in front of her. There was no answer. If there was anyone else there with Valena they would have thought she was crazy. "Rogen, don't play with this big sister! You know what happens when big sister is upset right?" asked Valena with a cold smile.

"Hehe... ahh what a surprise to see you here Valena! What can I help you with?" asked Rogen while laughing in an awkward tone.

"Rogen, call me big sister Valena," growled Valena while frowning.

"No way! That's embarrassing. Why don't I just call you auntie?" flipped Rogen back with a mischievous smile.

"You! Rogen stop playing around! If you don't want to get caught by those old "friends" of ours, just do what I say and call me big sister!" shouted Valena with a menacing tone.

"Valena, you and I both know I had to do that, even if it meant going against the faction." whined Rogen with a sad smile.

"Why didn't you come to me, we could have figured something out!"

"It's too late to lament about it now," said Rogen while looking off into the distance.

"Rogen..." just as Valena wanted to say something again, she sensed something. As she fixed her attention to the thing that caught her senses, she became terribly angry. "Rogen!" screamed Valena as she realised that while Rogen was talking to her, he sneakily opened a portal in the asteroid behind him.

"Hehe... Sorry, Auntie! Got to go!" chuckled Rogen while flying into the portal.

"You! Damn it! Rogen, once I get my hands on you, I will beat you into submission until you call me big sister!" threatened Valena as she was truly angry that Rogen dared to call her an old lady!

"Ugh! Damn it! How big is this damn river?" gurgled Steven, as he had swum over an hour and there was still no foreseeable end in sight. "Not just that, there is also that wave... It's almost here..." said Steven while grimacing.

"What am I supposed to do?" As Steven was asking this to himself little did he realise that a ship was nearing him.

"Wheh! What a battle!" gasped Barion, taking in a deep breath.

"Yeah, we haven't had such a great battle in ages," agreed Flaven.

"Commander, we have eliminated all the scaled earth dragons. What are your orders?" asked a panther that had bright purple lines all over its body.

"Hmmm... good! Scout the surrounding area and see if there is any indication, that there was a shelter here," ordered Flaven while looking at his surroundings.

" Do you think he maybe went into the river of greed?" asked Barion with a concerned expression.

"You can't be serious right, who would be so dumb and go into such a terrifying river?" Just as Flaven wanted to continue, he heard something that made him instantly frown.

"Commander! There is no sign of any shelter in the surrounding area," reported the panther as it returned.

"You can't be serious right..." said Flaven while glancing at the river of greed.

"We're screwed, aren't we?" mumbled Barion with a grimacing expression.

"Yeah..." answered Flaven knowing the ancestors would not be pleased over this development.

"Captain! Do you see that?' called a man with a green mohawk pointing to where Steven floundering.

"Hmmm... I do! What could a person be doing in this dreadful river without a ship?" demanded the captain.

"Should we pick him up, captain?"

"Why not? Camp leader Topom could put him to good use, seeing that this guy has a lot of courage to be swimming in this river," laughed the captain.

"Aye aye, Captain!" As the man with the green mohawk heard his captain's confirmation he steered the ship into the direction of Steven.

"Hmmm... what's that? Could it be someone is trying to help me! All hope isn't lost! I'm saved!" howled Steven while crying tears of joy not knowing his "saviours" definitely did not have any good plans for Steven. "Haha, even if I don't have any special powers or abilities, I won't give up! I decide my own destiny!" exclaimed Steven laughingly, not knowing his so-called "destiny" now, was not exceptionally good.

"What a weird chap, eh?" blurted the captain, hearing Steven laughing and spewing rubbish. "Destiny... huh... for people like us... it's no longer in our hand's kid," let slip the captain with a sigh as he looked into the distant sky.

"Hmmm," the sound of someone contemplating something could be heard.

"Sister Evelyn what's wrong?" asked a young girl with a sweet voice.

"Ah... it's nothing Helena, I just, for some reason, thought about an old friend," mused Evelyn with a sigh.

"Who sister Evelyn? Who could be so special as to have this person be remembered by you?" asked Helena while furrowing her small brows in frustration.

"Haha! Don't worry Helena, he definitely isn't someone special," chucked Evelyn, swallowing up her emotions, not wanting to show it to her junior sister.

"Hmmm... if he wasn't anything special, then what was he sister?"

"He was an idiot, but he was my idiot!" mumbled Evelyn.

"Hmmm? What did you say sister I didn't quite understand you?"

"It doesn't matter! You and I both don't have time for this! Let's go!" said Evelyn as she started walking again.

"Wait! Sister wait for me!" shouted Helena as she ran after Evelyn, forgetting about what she wanted to ask Evelyn.
