Meeting An Old Comrade!

Cao Tai POV

As the dread arrives I wonder what could've caused it.

While I was pondering this the bag covering my head was removed.

To my surprise, there was no blinding light temporarily blinding me, there was just a dim room.

I look for the person who dragged me to this place, looking around, until I get dizzy.

A finger pokes my shoulder, I look up and see... what?

A double over and heave my guts out then lay there, barely conscious like I ate too much.

Observer POV [The person poking the MC's shoulder]

(Earlier when Cao Tai was admiring the sign)

Another day in an odd world.

Aside from this goddess saying I deserve another chance to find love, I really didn't get much out of this.

I stretch out of bed, look in the mirror, and notice that I still look odd, people around here call me a 'Foxen'

With cat like-ears at the top of my head and 4 tails coming out of my back, aside from that, I look nearly the same as I did in my previous life.

As I walk out the door, I'm greeted with the odd city, looking Eastern yet Western at the same time.

Buildings that had an Oriental architectural style but used Occidental materials.

Of course it doesn't really look that way down here.

It's more like they build with whatever they want, but keep the style.

As I roam the streets looking for something to spend my day on or with when I see from afar a young man, resembling my commander.

I follow closely behind them, not too close because this slut is trying to get on him as well.

She is roughly 8 feet tall with Ashen hair and 2 HONKERS!

How will I ever manage to sweep him away from her? She even smells dangerous.

I see my opportunity to take him away when she isn't looking at him and instead a sign, the sign that greets people to this Autonomous District.

As she is gazing at it I quickly sweep him off his feet and cover him, just in case she can see through his eyes she doesn't know where I went.

When I arrive at my place I take off the bag covering his face and hide above him, on the ceiling, don't ask me how, I just can.

Watching him intently I look to see what he does.... and all he does is spin around?

Eventually I just get impatient and poke him on the shoulder.

He looks up and then falls to the ground, I never knew he had such a soft stomach.

I came down from my position above him and look at him into his hazel eyes.

He doesn't seem to react, I feel a twinge in my heart, to think he'd forget about me already...

Then I remember he just spinned around for quite a bit and has yet to recover, once he regains his senses maybe he'll recognize me.

Violet POV

Standing in front where his scent ends, I slowly open the door to see her on his back, and him, on the ground unconscious.

I prepare to grind her into dust if she try's anything suspicious.

As I stealthily walk up to her I'm interrupted by a casual, "I know you're there"

I sigh and walk out, still on guard, "Why are you near Master?"

"Why are you calling my commander Master?"

"Because he is, now take a step away from him or else..."

She takes a step back from him.

Cao Tai POV

I wake up to see probably my kidnapper and Violet having a conversation, something about a guy and who owns him... lucky guy... [Yes, we will have a protagonist that's as thick as Tank armor/dense as a black hole]

I sit up and they both look at me, with funny looks.

"Commander! Tell this... beast... that you are my commander!!!"

Wha- I'm not a commander! Like never! The best I ever was was a Lieutenant, and that was in a previous life.

"Who are you!?!? I am no commander!"

"You must be thinking of someone else... silly Foxen..." Violets looks at the cat-like girl with... contempt?

She looks at me, "Don't you remember me? Your right hand woman?"

Suddenly I know whom she may be, "Are you, Sasha?"

Her eyes brighten up, "So you do remember me, Commander!" (Much to Violets dismay)

I walk up to her and offer her my hand, what did you think I would do!? Hug her?! We are colleagues nothing more! (Much to Violets joy)

She takes the hand and shakes it frantically.

"What's your name here though?"

"Oh my name's still Sasha, why, is yours not still Matthew?"

At the mention of this name Violet looks at me inquisitively, "What is the meaning of this, Matthew?

It's such an UGLY name compared to Cao Tai!"

"May that be your opinion, but my name is Matthew" I smile and wink, seeing her shock, laughing I start laughing.

"Don't worry, I changed my name to fit this continent, after all, I don't want to be called a vagrant just because of my name. Also, you had no chance of knowing what was my name, since I never told you, Dragon."

"Now that I think about it, Matthew is the perfect name! And my name is Violet, Master!" She huffs.

"So commander, where are we going?" Sasha asked.

"We?! Going where!?" And all of Sasha's internal partying and thanking the goddess for this resurrection stopped.

"Yeah, I-i thought since we were together in the past life, maybe we can go together in this one?" Sasha said hopefully.

Still holding her hand I pull her in, "Of course you can tag along, but do anything nasty and Violet would beat you up to a pulp, OK?"

I motion to Violet to look threatening, understanding she takes out her wings, and I nod in approval.

"Y-yes commander."
