3 Chapter – 3 Good News and History Lessons

A melodious humming could be heard from the Gardens of Agares Castle as Libra Agares–the Matriarch of the House of Agares–was busy straightening up her garden, and watering her dear plants.

Gardening is one of the many hobbies Libra has liked and honed over the course of the past few centuries she has lived.

While cutting off the extra branches of a very rare plant that one would find only in the Agares Castle and nowhere else in the entire Devil world, she thought of the task she had entrusted her subordinates with, 'I wonder if they have made any progress.'

Just as Libra had such a thought, suddenly, a silver-white magic circle appeared a little distance away from her, and a silver-haired maid wearing a white mask came out of it.

The maid walked towards Libra, respectfully bowed to her, and said, "Lady Libra… the human girl you asked me to search for… I have found her."

Libra blinked her eyes in surprise, and asked, "Found so fast?" then asked with a smile, "Omega, were you aware of where exactly she lived from beforehand?"

The maid named Omega said, "Let's not get into that matter." Then added after a pause, "Since the girl Lord Nova wants for his peerage has been found, you should tell him about it and have him bring her to the Underworld before any other faction put their eyes on her."

Libra nodded, "Yes… I suppose we should immediately tell Nova and Julius this wonderful news, come with me, I am sure Nova would want to thank you for helping him."

Then without caring about Omega, Libra smiled and dashed towards Nova's room, "Son......! I have good news!"

As for the Six Houses of Lucifer… After the Heir of Lucifer disappeared, they retreated as well and hid somewhere in the Underworld, so they still exist somewhere in the Underworld… the only exception is the House of Lucifuge. For reasons unknown, almost all the devils of the House of Lucifuge were killed by someone."

Novachrono was taken aback, and questioned, "What about Grayfia Lucifuge? She survived, right?" he seemed really worried about this particular devil.

Monspeet shook his head, "Apparently, no… Grayfia Lucifuge's dead body was found along with the rest of the devils of House of Lucifuge."

Libra smiled widely, "Yes, it is!" she walked closer to Novachrono, picked him up, and while spinning him around, she said, "It's finally done!"

'Oh no… she is too excited… it has to be that.' Thought Novachrono, then said, "Mother, although I have no bias, I would still prefer a younger sister over a younger brother."

At Novachrono's words, Libra suddenly stopped, "Huh?" she blinked her eyes in surprise and asked, "Son, what are you talking about?"

Novachrono replied, "I am saying that if I am going to have a sibling, then I want a younger sister, not a younger brother!"

Libra was more confused, "And what makes you think that you are going to have a younger sibling?"

Novachrono replied, "Didn't you say that there is good news and since you are so excited, isn't the good news that you are pregnant?"

"No, silly!" Libra giggled, "That's not the good news. Although it would have been good news if I was pregnant, however, that's not the case this time…" then she added after a pause, "The good news is that the girl you want to recruit in your peerage has been found."

"What? Really?!" Novachrono exclaimed in surprise, "Has Lavinia been found!?"

"Yes… the human girl has been found." Libra nodded, and said, "Shall we bring here?"

"Is there even a need to ask such a question?" said Novachrono, and added, "Let's quickly go before that witch Glenda puts her eyes on my Queen!"

Libra nodded, "Hm." Then she looked at Monspeet who was still present in the room, and said, "Monspeet, let's conclude today's history class here."

"Very well my Lady." Monspeet nodded, he quickly picked up his things and left.

After Monspeet left, Libra quickly explained everything to Julius via a communication magic circle, then she and Novachrono left for the Human world using a teleportation magic circle.
