Embrace of the Primordial Darkness

After entering the house, I eagerly opened the message page to activate my second element.

[Notification]

[Would you like to awaken your second element (Y/N)]

Without any delay, I clicked on the yes option to activate my out-of-the-world second element with high expectations in my heart.

As the prompt was accepted, I found myself once again in my mind realm. This time, besides my familiar fire magic chart, there existed a dazzling light a short distance away. Multiple elements, ranging from space fissures to unfamiliar energies, filled the space.

But I could tell that not all of these elements were friendly and I could feel a threat to my life from some of these elements the wind and light elements emitted waves so powerful that even gazing at them seemed impossible and many were reluctant to show a path towards them.

"It appears I lack the ability to choose the element I desire and that the elements will assess their compatibility with me independently," I mused, observing my surroundings.

"I should have asked the second element of my choice." I lamented, reminiscing about my past decisions.

Amid my introspection, I felt a peculiar force pulling me. Moving in the direction of the pull, I encountered a profound darkness, almost a void.

Slowly extending my hand, I felt the darkness enveloping me. Contrary to my expectations, I found comfort rather than fear in its embrace.

Unlike what I thought I wasn't scared of this dark but felt a cozy feeling in it.

Just as I thought I was going to have a good rest interrupted my thoughts, unveiling details about my second element. 

After the system notification, all the other elements present in my mind realm vanished like they were never there.

After the notification, I came out of the darkness to see about its uses and to see how it was different from the Shadow Element of this world.

The description hinted at how my second element differed from the powers of this world, giving me the freedom to mold its abilities as per my imagination. A potent and limitless power.

It's a pretty good no its an excellent power whose limits are bound by my thinking.

"It will be exhilarating to wield this power," I mused with a smile that could unsettle even the bravest.

The night unfolded as I delved into mastering its abilities, discovering the challenges that awaited. The control over darkness proved elusive, and simultaneous practice with my fire chart became a necessity to avoid repercussions at the academy. In between, I engaged in physical exercises to fortify my body.

After exhausting all my strength gaining nothing over it I went towards by bed and went to the world of dreams.

At that time I didn't see the darkness concentrated at the palm of my hands before vanishing.

Anyway, I have thought of an idea for our MC to take on the villain route but for it either I would need to change the previous chapter not much just some extra lines or I could have him find clues in the future slowly. 🤔
