KASUKE KEIKO POV

Kasuke Keiko was a gentle girl in her second high-school year, while not the most beautiful she was quite good looking yet she had no boyfriend or anything of the sorts even if she was fairly popular in her high school, kind and fair to all with no discrimination towards anyone, an ideal personality you could say.

But everyone has their defects if it could be called that, she in truth was a bro-con of course she was even if her brother Kasuke Asahi was a maniacal person he had always been kind to her and after their parents died when she was 5 he had always taken care of her, doing his best to provide for her. It was quite natural that she had developed feelings for such a person.

After she noticed that he too had feelings for her she was naturally overjoyed, but chose to kept her own hidden because she thought that society would shun her older brother if anyone ever found out and this was one of her greatest mistakes and regrets.

Lately in an attempt to make her not feel uncomfortable, Asahi had lessened his shows of affection towards not knowing what the affect would be, of course she did not notice his intentions and instead thought that he had grown tired of her.

In an attempt to confirm his feelings, she took advice from one of her friends and told him that she had gotten a boyfriend to see how he would react, and it was a success he was visibly distraught an walked out of the house, she was overjoyed that he still had feelings for her but failed to notice how much those words affected him,'Onii-chan still loves me!' she had thought but the next day all her hopes were ruined.

The night passed and her brother had not yet returned, thinking nothing of it she slept woke up in the morning and her brother was still not home and she was a little worried but ultimately shrugged it off thinking he had gone to work early and went to school, the day went as usual chatting a bit with her friends and returned home with two of her best friend, Kasumi and Liza.

They got home and started hanging out in her room with her friends teasing her about her bro-con and she blushing and denying it, while underneath she was worried why he had not come back yet. She was contemplating this when the door bell rang thinking that it was her elder brother she ran to the door to be met with a police man looking at her he said,

"Are you Miss Kasuke Keiko?"

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry to inform you but your brother was found stabbed to death in an alley."

hearing this it felt like a bomb had been dropped on her and she fell to her knees with tears forming in her eyes and her heart filled with despair, she asked him again, "T-that c-cant b-be r-right?"

the policeman looked at her with regret filled eyes and said, "I'm sorry for your loss" hearing this she started crying loudly thinking about her brother naturally this was noticed by her friends who ran over to her to check what had happened and they found her crying on her knees looking very miserable, after finding out about what had happened, they tried to comfort her but started crying as well, both of them knew her brother and had only seen his kind side so they also felt very sorry at what had happened

Keiko herself kept crying for many hours and when her tears finally stopped she looked like she had lost her will to live and her eyes looked empty, noticing her poor state her friend Kasumi who lived near her brought her to her home and she didn't talk and started crying again at various points during their journey whenever he came to mind.

Noticing her friend's sorry state she had brought her to her house because it was not right to leave her alone at such a time, her parents had asked her what happened but she told them that she would explain later and looking at her Keiko's state they silently nodded their heads, Kasumi brought her to her room and tried to comfort her but she was unresponsive thinking that she hadn't gotten anything to eat Kasumi went downstairs to get her some food.

Where she found her parents waiting when she told them what had happened their eyes were filled with sadness for the poor girl who had lost all her family, and even though due to Asahi's job a lot of money had been given to her as part of his will, money can't fix the hole in her heart.

When Keiko was given food she didn't eat it, and fell asleep on an empty stomach her friend looked at her with sadness but ultimately slept after saying, " Your brother wouldn't want you to be like this. " harsh words yes, but they were ones she needed to hear.

The next day Keiko didn't go to school of course she didn't, when the school faculty heard the reason they gave her a month's leave so that she may get better.

A week had passed since then and Kasumi kept insisting saying that her brother wouldn't want her to be like this, she had slowly gotten better but it was nowhere near her previous self she was always a little gloomy but she had started getting better slowly, but she hadn't gone back yet Kasumi's family didn't mind they were quite fond of her and didn't mind her staying there until she got better after all she had suffered such a huge loss.

She didn't talk much and mostly just stayed in Kasumi's room with Kasumi bringing her food, she didn't eat for the first two days but on the third day she ate a little bit, today she had finally decided to go out because today was his funeral when she got there she immediately started crying again and a lot of people were here including their neighbors, and many of his friends from 'WORK' as well as some yakuza, and a very handsome foreigner wearing noble clothes with long white hair and two women sitting at his sides, one very beautiful with white hair and the other very cute with yellow hair. The foreigner was looking at Keiko with regretful and sadness filled eyes at her state while the two next to him looked at her with curiosity

After the funeral ended, Keiko and Kasumi were returning home and failed to notice that the foreigner had started following them.
