53 Asahi and Milim

STILL RIMURU POV

The fight between Asahi and Milim had been going on for hours, yet none could take away their eyes from the scene. Fuze looked on in an awe and fear as he said, "Is this the power of a Demon Lord?" All who heard could not help but agree with him because as the battle between the two went on, the destruction being caused went on increasing and increasing, the land on which they were fighting was no longer recognizable, as it was littered with, craters, holes, uneven lands and magicules radiation, The land would now most likely be uninhabitable for several years.

Rimuru looked at the battle while in thought, if these two were this powerful, not considering Asahi, there should be someone stronger than Milim out there. As such he needed to get stronger, much stronger if he wanted to defend his people. He turned to the now Raphael and asked, 'Could I beat one of them?'

Hearing the answer he sighed, 'Yup, thought as much.' However he was warned of being approached and looked back to see several hooded figures walking towards him. This was ArchDuke Elalude Grimwald of the Sorcerous Dynasty of Thalion, while originally he had come under the pretense of checking on his daughter Eren to form an alliance with Rimuru, this time that matter had not yet been announced, in other words they had come here for an Alliance with the Demon Lord Asahi, as there were various reports of Asahi not discriminating against anyone and being an open minded person. This information was gathered by spies which of course Asahi noticed but couldn't be bothered with, so he let them be.

As for Asahi being open minded? of course he was after all, he would kill humans, monsters, men, women, children, elderly without any kind of discrimination at all.

"Ho! What are you doing here?" Gazel asked him, "I was here to check on my daughter, but it seems we have more pressing matters to check on, though I never expected to find a coward like you out here." Elalude answered back as he looked at the gathering, Gazel nodded his head, "So you finally came out of your trees, huh. However, indeed look at that" he said as he signalled towards the town square.

Elalude followed Gazel through the monsters and looked at the display showing the battle between Asahi and Milim. His eyes opened wide as he said, "This is!" Gazel nodded in understanding and proceeded to introduce him and Rimuru to each other.

Now even Elalude joined the 'Make An Alliance With Asahi At All Costs' camp. Rimuru looked at them and sighed, unfortunately knowing Asahi he would most likely make a speech about the beauty of destruction and outright reject an alliance.

Violet(Yet to be named Ultima) turned to Carrera and said in a cute voice, "Ne~Ne~ does he fight a lot, kill a lot, destroy a lot?! Ne~ Tell me!" however the wicked smile on her face betrayed her voice, she was liking Asahi a lot.

Carrera didn't turn her eyes from the fight but answered, "You know that act of yours is disgusting. But hmmm..... If I had to say he likes to make others suffer more and slowly kill them. Sorta like you ain't it?!"

Violet's breathing turned erratic after all she had already submit to him in her mind, "Yes~ Yes~ that's wonderful~!" Carrera looked at her weirdly before taking some distance from her.

TO PRESENT TIME

Benimaru who was at Rimuru's side all this side reported, "Lord Rimuru! The battle appears to be ending! Lord Asahi has stopped moving!" This was being observed by literally everyone in Tempest, To everyone's surprise Asahi took the hit and hugged Milim, "Was this what I think it was about?" Rimuru looked at the scene with wide eyes, he wanted to kick Asahi right now."That idiot!" he said as he stomped his foot.

Carrera just deadpanned, "Saw this coming a mile away." Violet looked at the scene in curiosity, Liliana had by now joined them, she said, "This was e-expected! O-Of course he has a harem or two under him, I can see him drowning in debauchery w-with several women!" (A/N: I quoted the LN here, with just the change of Godou being replaced by Asahi)

Carrera turned towards her and said a bit angrily, "Hah! the hell you on about?! He's pretty loyal, if ya consider you as well as these two." she said pointing at Milim and then Violet. "That makes seven, him getting interested in someone like that is very rare, considering his tendencies."

Liliana smiled and said, "You seem to have a very high opinion of him, that's good" Carrera clenched her fist and raised it, "Of course! I've been by his side the longest! except his sister though all she saw is a facade with some truth mixed in." Liliana clicked her tongue in jealousy and looked away. While Violet pointed at herself in a cute manner, "Me~?" Carrera looked at her and nodded, "Why do you think I dragged ya here?"

Violet looked at him and said, "Well Violet doesn't really mind." Carrera looked at her, "Since he was already interested in you, he'd probably force ya to accept him even if you did mind."

"Hehehehe~ I like that" Violet said in a somewhat strange voice, Carrera backed away more, while scratching her head she said, "There's something really wrong with ya" while Liliana nodded her head in agreement.

And in front of everyone Asahi kissed Milim ending the fight, and then they hugged before separating with a smile, Rimuru fell over comically, "So it really was that!!"

The monsters began cheering for Asahi and Milim as they were genuinely happy for them, Shion clapped her hands, while Hakuro stroked his beard with a smile on his face. Shuna just smiled at them.

Fuze also fell over causing Elalude and Gazel to look at him weirdly, he slowly sat up and shakily pointed at the display as he said, "Lady Milim is a Dragonoid right? Do you think?" He was cut off by Elalude who laughed and said, "Hahahah! so we've been watching a lover's quarrel all this time!" Gazel however all of a sudden got serious and added, "If that was a lover's quarrel then..." this sent a shiver down the backs of everyone who heard it.

However everyone except these three failed to notice a red haired man, along with several women walking towards the two. As soon as someone pointed him out everything went silent, after all who would not recognize the oldest Demon Lord as well as the currently strongest True Dragon.

Fuze fainted, while Gazel, Elalude and their men looked on however, the one emotion that everyone felt at that moment was fear, Rimuru looked around curiously looked around, completely oblivious until he too shivered when Raphael told him who it was.

Well that is until Guy Crimson tried to touch Asahi but got decked instead.
