"Hello",I groan using a disapproving tone.Who the hell calls at four am?!.

"Adrianna Casper,you won't believe what happened!",my best friend says squealing over the phone.Correction people,only Kate calls at four am.

"This better be worth it",I say as I get into a sitting position on my bed yawning.

"Jamie broke up with Meredith!",she squeals as my eyes get wider."That's not even the best part,he broke up with her when he found out you moved.He only used Meredith to get to you.Turns out he really likes you,Jamie is a total mess right now",she says.

I'm in shock,I mean if I got this news like a week ago I would be happy but things are different now."Kate,he hasn't even called me once since I moved here and the thing is I don't have a crush on him anymore",I say sighing.

"Really?!,ohmygod,just wait a minute,just wait a goddamn minute..did you find someone else?",she asks as I blush.

"Yes",I answer as she squeals.

"Adri,you just moved a week ago and you already got yourself a hunk.Girlie Yo please do give me details!",she squeals as I laugh.

"Just because we kissed doesn't make everything alright.I just found out a week ago that I'm I'm ..a werewolf..and just when I'm starting to get used to the whole idea of being a werewolf,you come along.I just need time Daniel,I need time to try and figure things out.I need time to know where I want to be".

"Are you rejecting me?don't tell me there is someone else",Daniel asks in anger as I stare at him in total disbelief.

"There was someone else but that's over and done with.And no,I'm not rejecting you, whatever that means.I just need time to get myself together",I say as he smiles.

"Well good because there is no way I'm giving you up.If it's time you want then time you will get.Even though it would almost kill me being away from you,not being able to touch you and kiss you",he said a smirk on his lips as he pecks me on the lips and I sigh.

I swear,this mate thingy is really gonna drive me insane.

"Turns out he only used Meredith to get to you",Kate's voice rings in my head as I groan and sit up on my bed, my head resting on my knees.

It's a saturday,I sooo was planning to have a stress free Saturday but I can't.I keep thinking about Daniel and what Kate told me helps in no way.

I mean,I have no feelings for Jamie again so why should I be bothered.

But still,Jamie was my close friend before I started crushing on him.

He was like my knight in shining armor but deep down in my heart, I know he has nothing on my mate. I would always choose Daniel in a heartbeat.
