Lunch Time!

Phoebe looked at the clock above the whiteboard, it was finally almost lunchtime, and time seemed to go by so slowly. During class, Aurelius made it a point to test Jiwoo by messing with the boy by using his power and aura as a constellation to interrupt the boy. Each time Aurelius did this Jiwoo would glare slightly at Phoebe and Aurelius who was behind the girl. This all came to a head when Jiwoo stopped Phoebe as she was grabbing her lunchbox from her cubby.

"Let's talk during recess. Bring your weird evil shadow thing with you." Jiwoo hissed at Phoebe then walked away to his cubby.

Phoebe looked up at Aurelius who was smiling mischievously. She sighed lightly, she didn't understand why her father was messing with her desk mate, but she couldn't stop him.

She had just gotten into the line when she felt an arm wrap around and entangle her own. She looked for the owner of the arm to find Hyacinth. Hyacinth smiled at Phoebe flashing her lunchbox at her, nonverbally asking to join her during lunch. Phoebe nodded and the two girls smiled happily at each other as they walked hand in hand to the cafeteria.

The two girls at the end of the last lunch table each pulled the various foods and snacks out of their lunch boxes. Phoebe's lunch consisted of leftover pasta, apple, and orange slices, with one cookie for dessert. Hyacinth's lunch was a chicken sandwich sliced into two triangles, some ants on a log, strawberries, and two Oreos for dessert. The two girls started devouring their lunches, talking as they did so. They occasionally shared some of their fruits and some of their meals, happily munching all through lunch.

While Phoebe was eating, she failed to notice two pairs of eyes gazing in her direction. One of these gazes held a large amount of malice and irritation, while the other was of confusion and quiet curiosity.

....

Once lunch concluded Phoebe excused herself from Hyacinth and broke away as they walked towards the recess yard. Phoebe walked away from the monkey bars and the jungle gym and headed up the hill towards the school where a few kids were playing wallball. There at the edge of the building standing alone was Jiwoo. He urged Phoebe to walk quicker towards him so he could talk to her. Phoebe obliged her walking speed transitioning to a light sprint.

"Ok, I don't know what that behind you is, but it needs to stop messing with me." Jiwoo addressed pointing to the shape of Aurelius behind Phoebe.

Phoebe looked back, unsure of what to say to the boy. She could see the transparent form of her father but to Jiwoo it appeared more like a shadowy figure. She didn't want to confuse the boy, so she stayed silent trying to think about what to say when her thought process was suddenly erupted by a painful tug to her ponytail.

Phoebe let out a light scream, turning around to see the smug expression of Aiden who had snuck up behind her and had pulled her hair with such force that her bow was currently in his hands.

"Give that back!" Phoebe hissed, reaching her arm out to grab the bow.

Aiden reared back making sure to use his height advantage against Phoebe to keep her bow out of range of her hands. Failing to reacquire her bow Phoebe turned to face Jiwoo asking him to assist her. Jiwoo sighed lightly, not very happy at being interrupted, and grabbed the bow out of Aiden's hand and tossed it to Phoebe.

"Go away Aiden. I'm taking to Phoebe." Jiwoo lazily said giving the boy and blank stare.

"No! You can't tell me what to do! I want to pay her back for knocking me out of my chair." Aiden grumbled ignoring Jiwoo.

"That wasn't me!" Phoebe calmly responded.

Aiden didn't care for Phoebe's explanation as he started lightly shoving the girl. Phoebe just tried to ignore him by walking away but Aiden followed her continuing to push her around. After Aiden had shoved Phoebe seven times Jiwoo put his body in between Aiden and her.

"I said to leave! I'll get the teacher if you don't stop!" Jiwoo commanded.

Aiden's face grew red from anger as Jiwoo stood in front of him. In a flurry of anger, he shoved his way past Jiwoo and pushed Phoebe with all his strength. This time the girl was thrown backwards onto her hands, scrapping them on the rocky floor and causing them to bleed.

Ding!

[The Constellation, Ethereal Avian of Fiery Skies, wishes to avenge you.]

[The Constellation, Ethereal Avian of Fiery Skies', anger is growing rapidly]

The air around the trio began to cool down rapidly, Phoebe felt a chill run down her spine as the form of her father grew hazily due to his rage.

Aiden felt a strange sensation that the air around him was getting colder, but his skin felt like it was boiling. His body temperature began to rise as quickly as the around him began to cool. The winds whipped wildly around him and for a split second, he thought he saw the angry face of a ghost.

Phoebe noticed Aiden's face paling and jumped up from the ground dusting herself off slightly.

"Dad I'm ok. Please don't get mad and hurt him. I'm fine." Phoebe whispered.

The winds abruptly stopped, and the temperature returned to normal. Aiden stared in horror at Phoebe before running away as fast as he could. Phoebe scoffed at Aiden as she watched him run away.

"So that shadow thing is your dad?" Jiwoo asked skeptically.

"Yes?" Phoebe responded not intending to make it sound like a question.

"I'm sorry that your dad died but could you tell him to stop messing with me!"

"I'm sorry he thinks you're interesting."

"Well, now I think you should go to the nurse's office to get a Band-Aid. Here I'll take you." Jiwoo urged as he took Phoebe's hand in his and walked away towards the nurse's office.

Ding!

[The Constellation, Ethereal Avian of Fiery Skies, doesn't like that Jiwoo is trying to flirt with you.]

Phoebe looked at the message in front of her. For some reason now her father had issues with Jiwoo when earlier he had spent his time interfering with his studies. She wasn't sure what flirting meant but she was pretty sure that Jiwoo wasn't doing that. Phoebe sighed as she looked back to see Aurelius pouting.

She reached up with her free arm and patted him lightly to console him. This seemed to work quite effectively as Aurelius stopped pouting and smiled brightly at Phoebe.
