Yeri wasn't slightly affected by the woman's attitude, there was no reason to cater to a stranger's mood.

Inside, another woman was sitting absent-mindedly.

Doctor Neri was working on his computer and his hands briefly paused upon hearing her, "That was Mrs Neri."

Yeri was shocked but didn't show it on her face, she awkwardly scratched her cheek. "Sorry, I shouldn't have assumed."

Doctor Neri remained frigid and without any comment moved to the topic of her medical records and scheduled the necessary laboratory tests.

Yeri simply listened, nodding from time to time.

Somehow, he was giving her a career-obsessed impression, cold and stern.

However, thinking of his wife and the way he addressed her as 'Mrs Neri' seemed rather distant.

One would expect a proud and confident wife, not to mention Doctor Neri is a world-renowned surgeon but why does she appear to be suffering in life?

Anyway, Yeri wasn't a nosy person so her momentary curiosity faded away.

"Wait a minute," Doctor Neri pointed at the high-end wine bag on the coffee table seeing she was about to leave.

Yeri was shortly confused but soon understood his gesture. "That's not mine, it was from the two women who came here first."

Shin hastily swept through the papers Jj gave, asked for his bank account, and not long after Jj received a notification for a transferred amount.

"This...what is this for?" Jj was puzzled.

Jj knew it was Shin Keir because of the sender's name, it should be from his personal bank account.

Wait, what was he thinking giving his bank account? Jj felt foolish.

"I brought her here so naturally she's my responsibility. Besides, you're a college student, it's important to have more than enough savings."

Jj wanted to refute but looking at Shin Keir's stern expression he suddenly lost his courage.

If he offended him won't he take it out on his sister?

When Yeri returned she was blinded by the two watching TV and there was also Secretary Yun working on his laptop.

Yeri "..." What's with this harmonious atmosphere?

"You're here!" Jj quickly stood up.

God knows how tensed he was just sitting there with his butt on fire.

Yeri looked at her brother, a while ago wasn't he rushing to confront Shin Keir but this time why did he appear tamed?

Although she asked Jj to settle the bill she has plans to pay him back including his damaged car since she caused it.

Yeri didn't find fault in her brother and just checked the papers on the table.

Of course, she already took into consideration that Doctor Neri's consultation and treatment fee would be costly but didn't expect it to be sky-high.

Looking at the sum as if it would ever change, Yeri felt she was robbed in front of the police station, this doesn't even include the upcoming medical tests and all other hospital fees.

Yeri's monthly allowance only amounted to $2,000, after all, the dorm and tuition fees were covered by her parents in advance.

Master Zhi was also worried she would buy unhealthy meals and hang out with the wrong students so he not only limited her allowance but restricted her savings.

This was also the reason Yeri dared not use her savings account to pay the hospital bill otherwise her father would have known she was admitted.

Jj didn't want to move, the last time he left his sister with Shin Keir she had an accident. Although he seemed responsible, Jj still couldn't trust him. "I can wait outside and then will go back to school together."

Before Yeri could respond, Shin said in a stern tone, "If I remember correctly your car is still in repair, you want to take public transport when she just got discharged? Go, don't worry your sister won't harm me."

Jj heaved a sigh of relief and only wanted to pat Yeri's head but accidentally caught Secretary Yun's laser eyes as if he was delaying him.

"Let's go!" Secretary Yun gestured for Jj to follow him.

"When did I harm you?" Yeri couldn't hold back her tongue when it was just the two of them.

"You put me to bed yet suddenly changed your mind saying you want to break up, isn't that harming my interest?"

Her argument for break up was fair and rational. Never mind, she was too lazy to start with him in this matter.
