SHOPPING

So we went out me and my girls for shopping for more corporate clothing. Was feeling anxious about having a job in what seemed to be a millennial .We went to this Dior collection store and we were spending most of my savings on the expensive clothes. I was determined to look the best at work since I'll be the secretary of a CEO hence the need for me to be very much presentable isn't it.

Just as we were going through the selection Amber started looking at the lingerie section and I was made to change into them in the dressing room and catwalk out for them to choose the most appropriate one. When I looked myself in the mirror, I was actually looking stunning never had I bought such beautiful looking clothes my most store was ALIBABA.COM which sells clothes at a very affordable and cheap price.

After choosing the under garments I now changed into various outfits and the sales person always praised me in them I don't know maybe it was a selling strategy so that they will get a high commission after I bought the goods.

However when I was coming out of the dressing room I was called by Brittany to take a look at a very exquisite bag which was displayed in the shops window which she claimed will look good with my attire. Just as I made my way there everyone looked at me with surprised looks plastered on their faces even men inside the shop who had accompanied their female acquaintance's gazed at me.I was wearing a professional ladies suit which was a jacket and a very suiting pencil skirt completed with black ten inches high heels, mostly my hair was styled in a professional pony tail which I had done so as to exposes the beauty of my white blouse inside the jacket

With this look I swear I looked like an elite class member. When we arrived at the bag a very annoying lady said she wanted it.

"excuse me miss but we saw the bag first, so we will purchase it", Amber said.

"you saw it but did you purchase it huh thus the problem with you low class people you dare come to this place just to try outfits and post online so as to portray yourself as the elite", she said.

"how dare you….", Brittany said whilst giving her a hard slap on the cheek which took everyone in the store by surprise.

"you hit me do you know who I am ", she retorted.

"you can be devil's daughter for all I care", Brittany replied.

"am the only daughter to the Blossom family you dimwit and I swear you will regret what you have just done to me right now", after she said this everyone who was in the store was murmuring different topics ,some where even leaving the store so as to not be implicated in the mess. I was able to hear some few lines which expressed how rich her family was and how they will easily deal with us.

"Miss Blossom we are truly sorry. Hey you come here and apologize to Miss Blossom here ", this was the Store Manager as said by his badge he carried around said trying his best to pacify the young lady.

"well darling am sorry but I don't think I owe her anything .First of all she is the one who started this so called fight so she got what she deserved', Brittany said with full composure. Just the a tall illumination of a tall imposing shadow was evident behind me and I don't know why but I carried this crisis aura with it.

"what's going on here", the man said and somehow his voice sounded familiar but now I was not knowing where I've heard it from.

"baby these ladies slapped only because I wanted to buy the bag being held by this lady and most of all I was the first one to see it", she said rather wrongly and she tried to act pitiful. It was the last straw for me so I lifted my face and as I turned my body, I was shocked and terrified.

There he was the man whom I wished to never have an argument with. Anyhow I had to stand up for my friend who was now being intimidated by this man's strong aura.

"wow I didn't know this cheap girl could look this lovely in her clothes but her voice and attitude always made me hate her. But for the fact that am at public I don't want to act unrationed I'll deal with her later on when she comes to the company, she has a lot of things she has to pay for", this where Alexander's thoughts when he saw Emma.

"sir, it is not just as your fiancée has said ,she is rather the one who came and started throwing a tantrum where we were so I hope you have time and we can look at the surveillance of earlier to see who started this fight and that slap was form of defense because she was saying negative things about me and my friends here in public smearing our character", I said and I saw the man's obsidian eyes glow with what seemed to be shock and surprise.

"this girl does not stop to amaze me she is surely the best candidate for being my secretary but that doesn't mean I'll let by gone be by gone.', this was Alex's thought as he listened attentively to Emma 's suggestions.

"there won't be need for that we will be leaving but in the future, it is not right for you to hit someone in public like that", Alex said as he made strides towards the door.

"Alex aren't you going to stand up for me ", Lucy said feeling rather offended by his actions this was to clearly show that he did not value her in his heart and it made her heart bleed.

"what there to say the confidence they have to suggest using the surveillance footage shows that they are confident they are not the one's at fault here, so I just saved you from further humiliation", he said going out of the shop to his car.

"bitch you might have won today but you won't be this lucky next time". She said as she ran after the arrogant man.

We continued our shopping and went to a snack shop and ordered some noodles and hot steamed buns with coffee. After the whole day shopping plus that emotional stress earlier we were very hungry so we ate like a lion who was hungry for3 weeks.

"earlier did you see the shock I saw in the devil's face when he saw you in that outfit earlier", Amber said.

"you always have a way to ruin my appetite every time Amber why please I know that deep down he did not reprimand us in public for his figure only otherwise who knows what he will be crafting in his cold castle mind of his. Am now even afraid to work for him but I'll try because I want to buy my parents a house and also if I make it big buy a small shop to start a small business of my own, I want to be financially independent girls", I said.

"I support you girl we will see tomorrow after you sign your contract how much you will be earning then will budget how we will go on with our business as the CEO's secretary you must be having a large paycheck who knows", Brittany said .

We enjoyed our meal and went to the amusement just to feel the more vibrant and beauty of our surrounding each recollecting their childhood memories. On the way we saw a man who was selling cotton candy and I am obsessed with it so we stopped by and bought some.

"this really take me back to that time you promised Peter back in kindergarten that you will marry him if he bought you cotton candy during that trip. Emma do you still remember that", Amber said laughing so hard and I kept a serious face trying so much not to laugh because it was so lame back then.

"she did that I never knew that she was this heartless", Brittany joined the conversation laughing so hard.

"she did girl guess what ever since he has been pestering her to marry him but last time, she told him that he was too fat to be her husband that was 7th grade ever since he moved abroad, he was kind cute though", the story teller continued.

"I heard that he is doing well there and he will return pretty much soon. I met auntie the last time I went home for a visit", I chipped in.

"does she still call you her daughter in law", Amber said sarcastically.

"habits are hard to break, she even started telling me that her son was single so was I, she was busy with my mother doing their matchmaking thing it's so much", I said trying to look offended.

We then continued with our journey still talking about my matchmaking with Peter it was so refreshing it made my thoughts run their imagination forgetting that in the midst of my happiness the devil was busy plotting a way to exploit my soul but due to the impression that I wish to bring my family out of that dilapidated building we have called home ever since I was young my courage and determination was tripled . I was now confidant that I will confront the devil with his petty schemes and survive.
