BATTLEFIELD

We entered the bar with my girls and our spirits were high. We were talking and listening to the loud music which was playing. Just then a group of men came to our table and they insisted on sitting with us. I can truly say they exuded the nobility aura and they seemed like real gentleman but I don't just trust man in a bar some just dress up to lure ignorant girls to their bed.

"we were just passing by when we came across you beautiful ladies, care if we join", the first man said he had his friend who was wearing these sunglasses on.

"sure, you know what they say the more the merrier. Please take a seat here handsome", Brittany invited them.

"thank you. Am Justin by the way and this is my twin brother Josh .We came here with a friend but he is not the fun type so we left him alone when we saw you three drinking alone ",Justin said and Josh was quietly looking through his sunglasses at my dear friend Amber.

"well that reminds me we are here to celebrate my friend's survival. She went into the lion's den and survived she came with neither a scratch or bruise", Amber said.

"it seems interesting can you please us the details", Josh said activating Brittany's gossip mode.

"well today she went to this big company and her heel broke, so she broke the remaining one. That's not all she even walked as if she still had her heels intact "Amber narrated this to everyone whilst now I was gulping the content in my cup.

"well girl you're something else I hope you didn't scare your boss with your behavior", Brittany said.

"wait this isn't the fun part and yes the devil was not even afraid even for a millisecond. He even got the audacity to shove his claws at her but lucky being the granddaughter of stubbornness she managed to finish her interview", she continued now my mood was now fluctuating at the mention of that cold faced douchebag I met in the morning.

"you guys are talking in riddles who is the devil whom you're talking about", Justin questioned.

" I simply don't know his position in the company but he is too rude and arrogant .Can you image whenever I wanted to give an answer he would always cut me short it was so frustrating I tell you "I said then I went on and disclosed about everything that happened and the boys were laughing so hard that I could see tears forming in their eyes.

"girl you're fire, brother don't you think she needs to meet Alex maybe she will be the one to teach him a good lesson. I bet when the two meet it will be a battlefield", Josh said but just as soon as he finished his sentence, I heard that irritating voice coming from behind me.

"what is it you were saying will teach me a good lesson, let me make this clear Alexander Allan does not lose", the devil said I knew it was him even without turning over my head.

"oh, Alex what brings you here we said we want to have fun today don't spoil it for us with your unfriendly expressions ", Justin said with a shiver of fear available in his voice.

"well I was going to the restroom and heard my name being used in one of your pickup sentences so I came to see what was going on", he replied with a very serious and business face oh my word he was still wearing that suit from the office who wears a suit to a bar .That arrogant bastard is surely something else.

"were sorry man it happens that Emma here came across a guy who from the conversation the two of them had seemed to be of your persona. So, we were saying if the two of you met, we would witness a free soapy right girls", Josh said.

"well I have to say you know how to dress up and oh my you're so handsome", Brittany said.

Just then he looked at Brittany and right there our eyes met and I saw a reaction which we can describe as shock but due to his stoic facial features it was soon replaced with disgust.

"you….and what are you doing no secretary is allowed to be drinking alcohol", he said after a moment had passed without him speaking which was rather the peaceful time of my life but he clearly blew it up.

"well excuse me sir as much as I know am an adult and you simply do not have the right whatsoever to question about my life ', I said feeling irritated by his sudden question.

"oh, so this must be the devil whom all of you were talking about", Josh said and I wished both of them had put a filter on their words now he was looking me with those scary deadly eyes of his am dead.

"D.E.V.I.L', He bellowed loudly that everyone in the bar was taken aback by his outburst and it sent chills down my spine but Emma has never given up in any game so I was determined to win no matter what.

"oooopsssy daisy did I just say that what she meant was arrogant bastard", Amber said

"not helping ", Justin said under clenched teeth.

Just then in lighting speed he was now at my throat threatening to squeeze the life out of me. I looked in his eyes and saw pure rage I have never seen in any of my opponents. He was very furious.

"who did you dare to call a bastard huh is that what you think I am huh now I want to show you how this bastard will make you die a slow death .You will beg for your own death but it will not come so easily got it", he said but I just looked at him without fear or struggling.

"MR ALLAN CAN YOU PLEASE LEAVE MY THROAT BEFORE BLOOD GETS SPILLED IN THIS BAR", I said with a calm but clear voice which is not expected from someone who is being choked.

Justin and Josh quickly cleared the bar and now they stood at the edge of their seats sober all the alcohol consumed during the night washed away with this sudden turn of events.

"you still have the guts to talk so bold with me, remember at whose mercy your still able to talk", he said feeling more arrogant as he had the upper hand.

"okay I asked nicely now you're forcing me to use one of my secret weapons at you am sorry for it. Justin, Josh can you guys call the ambulance please it's an emergency. Just then he was laughing at the top of his lungs when I gave him a heavy blow on the nose and blood spew out.

When he left me, I looked at him with cold eyes and said" you're a businessman right I don't want the circle to say too much negative things about you consider this as me showing you mercy. Good evening guys am out.

" Josh quickly help me take him to the hospital his nose might be broken for all I know that girl is actually the worst she devil I've never met", I heard Justin said behind my back as me and my girls left the club with Mr. Allan having a bleeding nose.

We went straight to my house and no one talked about the nights event until we had reached the house .Just as I entered the house I fell to my knees and cried from the looks of things I had hit my boss now all hopes of having a job were lost .The girls saw me in such a state and picked me up and promised me that things will be fine soon.

"but when guys am tired of this life and mostly this shabby apartment .I want to support my brother in his studies but I just don't know what next to do maybe I'll keep on doing freelancing for the rest of my life who knows", I said with bitterness in my heart.

"girl you will always find a way through this don't worry too much all will be fine. How about this since our girl's night has been ruined tomorrow, we will go shopping in the afternoon and later on go and watch a movie at the cinema", Amber said.

"girls aren't supposed to be at work tomorrow, am fine seriously", I said feeling guilty for making them lie to their superiors so that they can get a day off from work.

"Emmie you have always been there for us when we needed a shoulder to cry on even when we needed courage you were always there for us now it's time for us to be there for you", Brittany chipped into the conversation.

Since both of them had reported sick for tomorrow we sat down on the rug made by my mother and we started watching one of our favorite series ALL AMERICAN .i just love SPELIVIA so much so do my girls .I even remember that one time Brittany dated a guy named Spencer and she always called herself Olivia Baker .Well we watched some of the latest episode of season 6 and they were really up the standard I loved them .Their portrayal of love is so tremendous .

"well I have to say that woman have balls, what the hell was that she openly humiliated thee Alexander Allan unbelievable", this was Josh annoying me with his usually gossip mode.

Well I have to admit but that girl knows how to throw a punch luckily the doctor said I had no serious injury or else she was going to pay with her life. Emma Stone you started this and I hope you are ready for what's coming your way I'll teach you thee lesson you will never forget just wait and see .
