Aria Lamorelli

Chapter 10: Aria Lamorelli

*Face slap with the rag*

Floyde shouted at the girl, "What the hell was that for?!"

"Don't you think calling me a young woman is enough? Saying miss all of a sudden, it's kind of offending," the young woman replied angrily.

(Fuck you, narrator! you still calling me a young woman!)

(Not my fault.)

"What are you saying! Aren't you somewhere between 20 and 25 years old- "

"Oww! That hurts, you know!" Floyde said. He rubbed his left cheek to lessen the face rag slap he just got again.

"Hmpff! You think I'm in my twenties. For your information, I'm still 18."

Floyde's eyes widened in shock and said, "Huh?! And with those..."

'Those breasts,' continued Floyde in his mind. He thought it would not be a good idea to say it to that young woman.

"Those what?" the young woman asked as she moved closer to Floyde.

"No, nothing," Floyde said with an awkward fake smile.

"Anyway, did you just go out to get that rag to slap me?"

"That wasn't my intention. I was going to wipe off that spilled soup on your lap," replied the girl, and sat back on the wooden chair.

"Then why were you removing the blanket?"

"How could I wipe it properly then?"

"I'm naked under you know."

"I already saw your lower part. Even if I see it now, I would eventually see it again later."

"What do you mean?" Floyde asked. But then, that so claimed '18 year-old' gritted her teeth, stood up, and started undressing her white gown until it fell, completely showing her naked body.

"I-Isn't this what you wanted after helping me?" the young woman said with a shaky smile.

Floyde stood up naked and walked towards the girl with a serious look on his face. The young woman started to shut her eyes close and was shaking. "Oww!"

"What is this?" the young woman said. "Why did you give me the blanket?"

Floyde was standing beside the table and angrily pounded it, which made the tray bounce with the bowl and the candle too. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" Floyde asked. "I didn't promise nor tell you to do that. You did that on your own accord."

"But-"

"Shut the fuck up and cover yourself!" Floyde said, and he shook his head. He leaned over to the girl and took the blanket from her hands. He covered it to her. "Sigh, I'm sorry. It's not my type to get mad that easily. It's just that... I hate it when people go against their will for something they don't want to do."

The young woman didn't even glance at Floyde when he put the blanket on her. She just lowered her head and looked at her toes, and said in a low voice, "I'm Amira. Amira Lamorelli."

"Well, It's nice to meet you Ms. Lamorelli."

"Y-You can just call me Amira."

Floyde chuckled and showed a bright smile. "That's nice. I guess I won't be needing to say 'Young woman or miss' again."

She raised her head to see Floyde, but never expected to see a killer smile from him. "Yes, don't call me that," Amira said with a blushing face. "Make sure to remember. I'll spell my name for you in case you forgot, A-M-I-R-A."

"Yes, yes. I know." Floyde looked down and completely forgot that he was naked. He twisted around and covered his crotch.

"Ah!" Amira shouted and also turned around too. "Wa-Wait a minute. I'll get you some clothes."

Amira came back and handed Floyde a white long sleeve and brown pants. "Thank you," said Floyde, still facing back.

After a moment of putting on the clothes, Floyde turned around and saw Amira in her nightdress. "Since you're now fine, you should rest more," Amira said, as she took the blanket which the soup had spilled on.

Amira then gave the blanket to Floyde, which he had covered her in earlier. "I guess it's time for me to go to bed. You too. You should rest more," Amira said, holding the tray with the stuff on top of it from earlier and the blanket.

Floyde blew the candle. "Sigh... it's already night. What a rough day," he said to himself. "I need to leave and return home tomorrow morning."

3:59 A.M. came. The clock was ticking, hanging on the wooden wall which Floyde was looking at. "It's time to go."

He took a pen and paper from the drawer near the door and wrote: "Thank you for helping me. Soon, I hope to see you again. Treasure your body, don't give it away. -Floyde."

Floyde left the paper on the table and wore the black leather boots she gave yesterday. Through the wooden window at the side of the table, that was where he exited out.

He didn't want to go out through the main door because he knew she was still asleep. After all, the sun didn't rise yet. The creaks on the wooden floor would surely wake her up if he would pass through there.

"So Amira's village lies in the forest," Floyde said. "And I totally forgot to tell her my name. At least if she reads the note I left, she will know... probably."

It was still dark outside in the forest, but Floyde didn't give up. He wanted to go back home because it's been 3 years since he'd last saw his family.

Floyde was sentenced to life imprisonment by being framed for killing his classmates and others in the summer camp he'd been to.

The rage within him never diminished, never forgetting what he had been through. "Sentenced in life imprisonment for something I've not done. Some bullshit that is," Floyde said to himself.

Through the dense forest, he was exhausted and thirsty. The sun hadn't risen yet, but he thought he saw the flickering orange flame of an oil lamp in the distance. Staggering towards the light, more lanterns came into the view until an entire town materialized from the forest.

Although Floyde tried to tell himself that he wouldn't stop until he reaches home, desperation drove him forward. In a last burst, he fell into a large bush by the trees. Sadly, he wasn't able to reach the town he saw.

"That bastard! Thinking I'm a playboy all of a sudden," said a young man in blonde hair. "It hasn't even been a week since we last saw each other. And his face... Hahahaha," he said as he continuously slapped his lap in a fit of laughter.

Laughing, he glanced to where the annoying loud snore was coming from. Walking towards the large bush, he saw Floyde lying on the ground, unconscious. "Why the hell is someone sleeping here?"
