Chapter 6

"I once again welcome you to the Void, my and my children birthplace." The She-dragon spoke. "My name is Ravanna, behind me are my three children. Chaos, Order and Abss, they are the creators of the multiverse and guardian of all that their is."

"I see." I answer. "So why am I here?"

"Because, my dear child. After watching you the past view years we have decided to grant you a boon," she said, her voice carrying the weight of ages past and futures yet to unfold.

Confusion clouded my mind as I struggled to grasp the implications of her words. "A boon?" I echoed. "What do you mean?"

It was Order who spoke next, his tone measured and authoritative. "You are Adam, the first man. It is the same in many worlds were their are many versions of you, but unlike you they were not born with the gift."

I furrowed my brow, trying to make sense of the revelation. "What gift?" I asked, my heart pounding with a growing sense of apprehension.

Chaos, with his fiery gaze fixed upon me, delivered the unsettling truth. "Whenever the God of a world creates the first man, they select something to mold your body out of, and what your God chose was born a tree sprout and use the ash of the tree to create your body, that sprout was the tree, Yggdrasill. You were born with the connection to the tree of knowledge able to grasp knowledge from the future and use it."

My breath caught in my throat as the weight of his words settled upon me. "So my cave, the clothes-"

"Are all a thousand year to early." Abyss muttered. "But do not worry we are not punishig you for ending up with all the knowledge. Cause even then, you were respectful to the earth and the animals and protected those you cared about."

"So why am I here?"

"We want you to become our 'hero' of sorts on earth. Once in a while we will give you tasks and you will complete them and in return we will get you out of the garden of eden and bless you with the power to stand against those that dare harm those you care about."

"What is this power?" I asked.

"We will transform you into the first, primordial human." Ravanna explained. "Your body will be greatly inhanced to be able to use 'Apex Predator.'"

"Hold on, what is a Apex Predator?" 

"Apex Predator, can be a dangerous ability that transforms you to the apex predator of your species, granting you the ability to replicate and catalog the powers and abilities of another's and evolve them in different way." Chaos answered.

"For example, you could replicate Water Manipulation and turn it into a Water Form Manipulation." Ravanna responded.

"You can also 'branch out' with these powers, changing them into something else marginally related to it or turning it into something less advanced or powerful." Order added. "An example would be replicating Fire Manipulation and turning it into a Energy Fire Manipulation or vice versa."

"Isn't that kinda powerful?" 

"Well just because you copy these abilities won't mean you could just use them withought training. So you would have to train and master any ability that you copy into your catalog." Abyss yawned. 

"And I get this power if I become you campian and help you deal with problems?"

"Yep!" Ravanna clapped her hands. "So you agree?"

If I accepted I could protect Lilith and Eve finally. I would have the power to one day stand against god and wait what would Lilith even say? This is a hard choice. 

I clech my fist looking at the four gods. "I'll accept on one condition."

"Adam!" Eve ran out the cave as she hugged me, as she helped me inside. "Where have you been? It has been over a year since you left!"

"I have so much to tell you," I mutter, exhausted as I tightened my grip on my new sword, blood dripped from it unto the snow leaving a trail to the cave. "Where is Lilith?"

"She is out finnishing her roands in the garden." Eve responded as she helped me sit as she cleaned my hands and face of the blood. She than saw the sword. "Uh what is that?"

"This is Kovu... a greatsword named after a good friend." I responded smiling as I touched the blade. 

"Well it is all bloody, so let me clean it up!" Eve replied as she grabbed the sword.

"Wait, Eve the sword is really heavy."

"Oh how heavy ca- oof!" Eve fell over as the blade suddenly dropped to the ground. "What is with this thing! It's way heavier than possiable!"

"The sword was made of a very special material that was forged with my blood, so." I raised my hand and the sword shot up into my palm. "Only I can command the weapon to do as I say."

"So what is it made of?" Lilith asked walking into the cave. 

"It's made of this ore called mythril it-ow!" I rubbed my shoulder. "What was that for!"

"Oh man up, we both know that punch didn't hurt." Lilith rolled her eyes. "That was for leaving us all alone for a year and forcing us to deal with Gods bullshit for so long!"

"I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was that long." I replied as I set Kovu back leaning against the wall. "I guess time flew by faster out here. To me I was only gone like an hour."

"Just tell us what happened and why you have a sword named after our deseased friend." Lilith replied as she grabbed a rag and cleaned the blood off Kovu's blade while Eve came back with a fresh set of clothes. 

After changing, I told them everything. I told them of the voice that spoke in my head, the three creation deities and the golden dragon Ravanna. It took me about an hour to explain almost everything but the two listened well.

"So we are leaving the garden?" Eve asked.

"Yes, that was the deal." I responded grabbing an apple. "But first we need to prepare, because they said that in six days; eighteen hours and six minutes we will be visited by another angel."

Lilith paled. "Did they say who?"

"No they didn't, and in seven days; seven hours and seven minuts, God will visit so we will have to prepare."

"How are we going to prepare?"

"I need to train with Kovu, and I need to start using Apex Predator."

"Wait won't you be in trouble telling us all this?" Eve asked. "Like those big powerful gods will punish you?"

"No it is fine. I only agreed to be their champian as long as I could tell you. I didn't want to keep secrets from you."

"So that is cute and all but I have to ask, why did you name the sword after Kovu?' Lilith asked as she ran her fingers on the blade.

"Because his soul is inside that sword, it was Abyss's idea. They couldn't bring him back due to the Divine Laws but this was a way around it. And let me tell you, he wont shut up about it!

"Who Abyss?" Eve asked.

"No, Kovu. Also he is exited that Lilith is touching him." I sigh looking at the sword to see it vibrate exitedly, the blade glowing black.

"Wait, why?" Eve asked.

"I might have spoiled him alot when he was with us." Lilith laughed nervously as she doted on the blade.

"I see what you mean." Eve deadpanned.
