The Seeds of War

Huigu stared at her destroyed statue materials with rage building in her heart. She had specifically ordered rare resources to build this statue, and the alloy she was using would rust so fast if it wasn't paired with a bonding agent that she needed to have the alloy made and bonded in one sitting. But now, because of that damn bomb threat, most of her alloy reserves were completely rusted over.

"Are you sure the human was let off without retribution?" She almost hissed at her high slave. The slave had proven herself extremely good at keeping her other slaves in line and had been promoted to personal attendant about a year ago.

"That is correct Mistress. The human was absolved of all charges, but the culprit has not been found yet."

Huigu turned to face the open flame in the room. Another one of her slaves was cooking a Hron arm and she was looking forward to a distraction from this frustration.
