Interrogation part 2

"I request access to a certain file on my account. It is called Plans 1," Adam called out before the disciplinary officer could question him about it; the quicker he did this, the more likely the giant horror wouldn't think Adam was stalling for time.

"We will investigate that file then, recruit Blake. You will wait here until the investigation is done."

"No, I need the files in front of me so I can direct you to the appropriate sections. It doesn't hold succinct information to prove my innocence," Adam called back. He was far more animated now and it seemed to cause the slave to flinch more than when he was asked about his crimes.

"That is not how these interrogations work, Recruit Blake. Your request will be refused unless you give us a good reason why you should be allowed to direct us in our investigation."

The officer's voice was low and menacing, causing Adam's enthusiasm to slightly subside as he shot back.
