Chapter 36: Wadaean Aleasifa

Fedyenka sensed something coming towards her. She got her guards up. She heard Phantom's voice.

"Yeah yeah, they ain't bring no harm. Let them out." said Phantom.

Then Fedyenka could see everything again. She saw Qiang at a shaming state. His cloths were torn. Fedyenka's cloths were still at the worst state, thanks to Phantom, she could save herself from the shame. Fedyenka looked at herself and found herself completely fine.

"What is it rookie? Got startled by the illusion?" said Phantom.

Phantom looked at Qiang with a keen eye as if he was disappointed. Some men dressed with thawb with swords on both sides. They were made of jades as well as the men and the men's dresses. The men's eyes were pure blue. One of the two men were different who's body was made of jade indeed but which had a blue hue.

"Wow..." said Fedyenka staring at the men.

"Come with me Fed. I will show you something. Keep Qiang away whilst I am working will you, Almas and Ali?" said Phantom and took Fedyenka away. The men nodded and pulled out one of their swords.

"Uh...why is Qiang like that? Is he okay?" said Fedyenka.

"He is okay. You worry too much. I will show you something today. But at first Fedyenka, I have a question." said Phantom.

"What is it?"

"Do you plan on stopping your adventure someday?"

"Not until I know everything."

"Such a dreamer. So you will never stop."

"I told you."

"Do you feel hopeless?"

"I used to feel hopeless. I know that you guys are the reason why I got hurt and brought down so many times but, you guys gave me hope."

"How so?"

"You guys were the first to show me a way. The first to tell me about the truths I did not know of."

"Hm...Then...I am not sure if you are ready to know these or not. I am warning you, knowing the truths shall lead your immature mind to slaughter and pain far immense than anything."

"I am ready for it."

"Then get prepared."

Phantom and Fedyenka reached a cave. The cave was filled with blue lights. It seemed familiar to her. The blue flames were like jellyfishes. Small and plump. The place was filled with diamonds and stones as blue and green as the nature. Up above the place was filled with white stars. There were water passing by which looked like blue marble. Fedyenka touched the flames. The flames got attached to her.

She began to see many things at once. She felt as if her head was about to explode. She could remember the moments she loved with King Oleg and Queen Maria and her brother Felix. She could remember how Sabio Second looked like, how much of bittersweet Sabia Third was. The doll like face of Sabia Fourth. She could once again remember the moment she heard the name for the first time, Phantom.

She let out a scream. She opened her eyes and started breathing fast. The blue lights around her became red. She saw herself bleeding. As if it has absorbed a great amount of blood from her body. She felt pain all over her body. The flames were getting black and slowly got dimmed and disappeared into the darkness. She still did not lose the hunger, the curiosity. She looked around to see what is going on. She touched the stones that turned scarlet. The stones broke and let out a stream of blood. She got showered in the blood. She drowned in it. She was about to die. But she wanted to live on. She let out a light from her chest. The light slowly emerged everywhere. She somehow pushed all the blood away. She could not take the pain anymore. But she still wished to know more. She stayed like that, floating while keeping the blood away from her. She went deeper into her memories. She could feel somethings being recreated. She remembered some fragile memories of a woman holding her tight. Singing a lullaby to her. The lullaby calmed her down. She closed her eyes.

Then she opened them again. She found herself covered in the white substance. Her cloths were drenched in blood. She figured out many things about her past and the truths of the history.

"So, that was what happened...I have to tell them about these." said Fedyenka. She fell down again. Then she found herself laying down on a bed, in a small room. Yuri was reading a book by her side.

"Yuri...W-Where am I?" said Fedyenka. She still could not gather the energy to rise up from the bed.

"Oh you are awake. That bloody Phantom. He let you do such dangerous thing. You won't be able to go out for two weeks and this is fixed." said Yuri.

"What happened?"

"You don't remember?"

"I do but, what happened to me?"

"Your lungs, kidneys, heart, brain everything became mashed potatoes. Even your regeneration system couldn't make up for that much damage. Even your system needs some rest."

"What..."

"There was a stream of blood. Good that Kristen taught you how to worship. I ain't ever letting you out with either Qiang or Phantom. Both of them are troublemakers. I hate them."

"Wow and you guys are a team."

"Yes, this is the worst team."

"Hm..."

Fedyenka's mind was filled with questions. She could only think about the things she saw and when she will get the chance to tell them what happened.

"Hey, Yuri." said Fedyenka.

"What is it?" said Yuri.

"For how long have I been sleeping?"

"Forty eight hours. I will make a meal for you. Rest until then. Don't move an inch from the bed. If you need anything call me out."

"Okay."

"I am starving I can't even think straight. But I guess I should get used to it. It probably hasn't been too long since I was born...though...I doubt if I really am that young. They must be hiding something from me. The counselor said that I will hate them if I know the truth. I believe Yuri did some dirty works for some reason. Everyone is shackled to the first sage...even Phantom. I will not forgive any of them after knowing about those for sure but...I will not hate them either. I will just...go with the flow...be a wanderer in this world...forever.

Thoughts like this, crossed Fedyenka's mind. Like always, she was pondering. Her mind was filled with memories which are not even hers. Or perhaps those are hers yet with some different principals. She will know it all in her next days.

Suddenly, she felt like someone was calling for her. An unknown voice called her two times. She then answered,

"Who is it?"

"I told you not to answer before someone calls you three times." said a voice in her head.

"What..."

Fedyenka then fell into a deep sleep, again. When she woke up, she saw Yuri again. This time Yuri was laying his head down beside her, on the bed, sitting on a chair. His face was looking worried even though he was asleep. There was a cold curry on the side table. She called out for Yuri. He did not answer. She kept calling him.

"Yuri. Yuri wake up! What do you want me to do? I will do it. Wake up!" said Fedyenka.

"Will you stop looking for the truths...please? FOR GOD'S SAKE!?!" said Yuri and held her tight. He held her close in his arms and tears dropped. He said,

"Your body is still cold...why..."

"Kristen told me that anxiety can-"

"Fuck anxiety. What did you dream about that made your body so cold?"

"I...dreamt about a woman. She called out for me two times and I answered her. Then she told me that...she told me before not to answer someone before someone calls out for me three times. I fell in a deep sleep after that."

"Hallucination. WHAT HAS THOSE FREAKS DONE TO YOU."

"I think maybe it's the place."

"But they brought you there so it is their fault."

"Qiang didn't do anything. He seemed to be trying to-"

"Shut up."

"Ok..."

"*sigh*"

"Hey Yuri."

"What..."

"When did you marry exactly?"

"What-"

"The counselor mentioned that you had a daughter and you seem to see me as a daughter so..."

"So what?"

"You seem pretty young to be a dad of someone of my age."

"Hmph...I became a dad at the age of seventeen."

"Woah."

"He he. That wasn't all. My wifey was only sixteen."

"Who let you two-"

"Shut up and listen. She was beautiful. Her hair was curly and black and her lips were pink as rose. Her melody was sweet as sugar and her skin was white as snow. Her voice was a melody itself. We fell for each other very young. She passed away when she was only eighteen. My daughter was only a year old. Her hair was straight like mine and her face was just like her mother. My pebble passed away...along with her mother in the beginning of the war."

"She is younger than me."

"What?"

"She is alive in another realm but dead here this is why we say that she is dead."

"Is that a theory of yours?"

"Yes."

"Hmph."

Yuri slimed at her and patted on her head.

"If she was alive...would she love me a lot?" said Fedyenka with the face of a child.

"She would love you ten times- no, hundred times more than I do. She was a caring woman. And a strong one too." said Yuri.

"So...Yuri. What was the war about?"

"It was? Tsk tsk tsk...young soul, do you even know how long a war can last?"

"No I don't have any idea about that."

"You will. You were built for war."

"I was built for myself."

"Hm?"

"If I wasn't built for myself then I wouldn't have any freedom either."

"So that's your another theory?"

"No it is not quiet completed. I think we live because of the God and ourselves and for a special purpose."

"All of us? For a special purpose?"

"Yeah. As an example, bad people are sometimes so bad at many things that they make us feel scared about the fact like, what if we ever become like them?"

"You still haven't gotten the grasp of this language...even after setting it in your brain. Well I think your theory might be correct. We still don't have the real info about it so I don't know but yes, your theory seems correct."

Fedyenka stayed silent.

"By the way, we will head off from here tomorrow. Someone will carry you all the way. I ain't handing you to either Qiang or Phantom. Qiang is still a young soul. He joined us because he is a righteous kid."

"So Qiang is a rookie like me." said Fedyenka.

Fedyenka took the cold curry and ate it with pleasure. Even though she hates cold foods that are supposed to be hot, she enjoyed it. Yuri left the room saying that no one will enter and that she cannot move or even should try to. Fedyenka laid down on the bed again and fell asleep.

The next day, she woke up and found herself being carried. She got frightened. She was about to fall because of the sudden change. The person carrying her held her tight and said,

"Come on, at least look before you do something."

"Yuri. Why are you carrying me?" said Fedyenka.

"Who else is gonna do that? I ain't ever handing you over to those freaks. No, that freak. He pushes you too much. You almost died." said Yuri.

"Oh...Okay."

On the way, she started feeling cold. She pulled her cloths and became scorched.

"What is it? Have you gotten a fever?" said Yuri.

"Maybe. Hey Yuri, why are we leaving so fast?"

"Because of your sickness. I have to move you somewhere else."

Fedyenka looked up and said,

"Wadaean Aleasifa. You have been an asshole to me but still, I love you."
