35 Won't be a next time

"Th-that's…" Ling Yun said with his eyes wide open and mind a mess. Everyone in the stadium felt like they had just experienced on of the most tragic scenes of their lives. One cultivator looked down and was shocked to find tears rolling down his cheeks. More and more viewers also found their cheeks wet with tears.

"I can't believe it… He lived with this type of burden on his back…" whispered Xia Qingyue shocked by what she saw. Chu Yuechan and Jasmine were also very surprised to see Itachi crying like this… Seeing this scene made them feel like someone was clutching their hearts.

The people who saw this realized just how tragic his life was. The illusion he used on his girlfriend as well… To make her experience 80 years of peace and love with Itachi was both terrifying and beautiful.

"Itachi… you have suffered greatly… from today I promise that I will take care of you!" Chu Yuechan swore to herself in her head.

Sasuke was running towards his house with extreme anxiety and stress. "Dead! Everyone is dead! What happened! Mother and father! Please be fine!" he thought scared. When he arrived at his house he slowly opened the main house door… What he saw in the room would haunt him for the rest of his life…. His mother and father were dead on the floor with Itachi standing behind them in the shadows.

"N-Nii-san! What happened!? Tou-san and Kaa-san? Who did this?" Sasuke asked, still afraid and terrified.

"It was me, my foolish little brother. I killed them." Itachi said shocking Sasuke. He couldn't believe this. He was convinced he was just having a bad dream and would wake up soon…

"N-Nii-san why did you do it…?" Sasuke asked frozen in fear.

*Fwisshh*

Itachi threw a kunai that brushed against Sasuke's arm and injured him.

"It was to test myself. I wanted to see if I could do it or not… No less, No more…" he said.

Sasuke looked at Itachi and his fear turned into anger.

"You killed them… just because of that?!" Sasuke whispered before he ran towards Itachi. He tried to attack him but Itachi just punched him in the stomach. Sasuke was lying on the floor and little by little stood up.

"The only reason I won't kill you now is because you are weak. I see that you have hidden potential so I will keep you alive. One day you will make a good opponent to measure my abilities against. It's purely my selfish desire…" he said.

"My foolish little brother… If you want to kill me… curse me! Hate me! And live a long unsiglity life… Run away… Run away… and cling to your pitiful life. And then some day, when you have the same eyes I do, come before me!" Itachi said with his Sharingan activated which slowly morphed into the Mangekyo Sharingan.

"Tsukuyomi!"

He trapped Sasuke in an illusion and showed him how he killed everyone… Sasuke immediatly fainted from the emotional shock and his brain overloading as it was too much for him. Itachi looked at Sasuke one last time before he escaped. The last picture of Sasuke passing out was Itachi crying…

The audience were shocked seeing this. Especially one person who felt that speech was familiar. It was Yun Che! He didn't understand why he did that to him but he realized now that there was more to it than he thought. If he really wanted to he would have killed him that night. He realized now that their was something about what he did to him was eerily similar to Sasuke. Itachi also seemed to be trying to help save Sasuke, so perhaps he was trying to save him as well while making him more powerful? He didn't know and continued to watch.

15 minuteds after the Anbu arrived.

"Oh my god… who could do something like this…" an Anbu member whispered to herself.

"Immediatly search for any survivors!" Hiruzen ordered immediatly. Anbu immediately left and made a search.

"Itachi…. I'm really sorry for what you had to do. The only thing I can do is make sure Sasuke is well cared for…" Hiruzen thought to himself.

"Itachi was the one committed this atrocity." Danzo walked in and said.

"Itachi Uchiha?" the Anbu said surprised.

"Danzo enough! Don't you see the problem we have here?! I can no longer let you act with your own authority! From now on Root will be disbanded!" Hiruzen said. Danzo seeing this turned and walked away. Once he was farther away he spoke seemingly to air.

"Find corpses that still have active Sharingan…" he ordered. Suddenly the Root came out a bowed before starting to move when they suddenly stopped. Danzo turned and saw two Mangekyo Sharingan staring at him.

"You..?!" Danzo exclaimed.

"I watched it all and I will continue watching… If you touch Sasuke I will give all of the secret intel of the Village to every enemy country." threatened Itachi before he disappeared in a flock of crows.

"Damn you…" Danzo said angrily.

Sasuke was immediately transported at the hospital, after which ANBU collected all the bodies and took them away. The sun slowly started to rise and now Itachi was is in front of Hiruzen and waiting to speak.

"First let me say thank you very much. Peace in the village has been maintained." Hiruzen said softly. "But even so I regret that there was no other way."

"Hokage-sama, will you swear to me that you will protect Sasuke?" Itachi asked.

"I will, but I will not be able to erase his hatred of you."Hiruzen said in a depressed tone.

"I am ready to bear his hatred." Itachi said.

"Whenever you are worried about Sasuke, you can sneak in I will let the security disappear. Unfortunately you are still labeled a missing nin and the whole village will still hate you..." Hiruzen said sadly.

"I know. Thank you." Itachi spoke before disappearing.

Several cultivators seeing this sighed to themselves. Itachi had planed it all that from the start ... "It stopped ...?" Said a cultivator in surprise.

They all turned towards Itachi's location but didn't see anything because some dust hid it. They saw Sasuke panting upside down after Kirin's stance, fog began to disperse revealing Itachi's figure without his Akatsuki cloak, he was in poor condition and his eyes were bleeding, deep silence ruled in the stadium. Why did they keep quiet? Because of the 'thing' that protected Itachi.

Mad out of pure red Profound Qi with a pressure that suppressed all others… It had the appearance of a red skeleton and it surrounded him. They all recognized what it was.

"Susanoo…" one cultivator said shocked.

It waas really frightening seeing something with so much power. Itachi is still panting and stared at Sasuke.

"You really made such a move Sasuke ... if I didn't use Susanoo I probably would have died their…" Itachi said. Sasuke looked very surprised that Itachi had still survived. Suddenly Itachi started to slowly walk towards Sasuke. Sasuke walked back while throwing whatever was still in his hand at him. His energy had long since disappeared and he was out of stamina to run. "D-Don't come closer!" Sasuke shouted anxiously.

"It's no use ... Susanoo is known as an absolute defense. You can't damage it." Itachi said. Everyone in the arena swallowed their saliva completely intimidated by this 'Susanoo' that he was using.

As Itachi slowly walked towards Sasuke he began to stretch out his hand. "He ... won't kill him ... right?!" Asked a cultivator in the crowd. Chu Yuechan to bite her lips looking at this. "Itachi ... what are you doing?" She thought to herself.

"Don't!" Xia Qingyue shouted out. Jasmine however was shouting at Itachi from inside the Sky Poison Pearl.

"Itachi! Your condition isn't good at all! Stop this you have to heal yourself now or you will die." She shouted screaming and shouting again but Itachi didn't listen to her at all. He just kept walking or more accurately, he dragged his body with his last strength until Sasuke was pinned against a wall and could not back down go anywhere. Sasuke for the first time in a long time shook. His legs trembled in fear of death. What Itachi was going to do to him!

Itachi stretched out his hand and….

He stabbed him like he always did with two fingers. And with a smile what seemed to be the last smile that came from the bottom of his heart.

"Sorry Sasuke ... There won't be a next time." he spoke as Susano'o disappeared and Itachi fell face pressed to the wall before he really did lose consciousness falling to the floor without energy. The crowd was fully silent.
